Tried again. The installer worked its way through the Fences\Images folder for about ten minutes, updating a .png file every 4 seconds or so. It got stuck for several minutes on [email protected] Finally, after 15 minutes, I got a popup saying: Notice The following file is in use and can not be updated: Fences\Layouts\Bottom.fencelayout Close apps and click Retry or Cancel to install on reboot. I found the download link in my account (was looking under profile before). But unfortunately the install just hangs. It looks like it's working but it goes VERY slowly and then eventually it just stops progressing. Is the install not freeing up the files it's replacing before starting? Do I have to somehow "stop Fences" first before running the install?

Yeah well I'm still getting pestered by a lot of update notifications. I even did the update and it still tells me there are new updates. I unchecked the auto check for updates checkbox as well. I can't seem to make this stop.
Well, in this instance, the OD popup told me that Start10 had an update. I let it pass, but honestly I'd prefer to update at my own choosing rather than every time the software has an update. Notifications are intrusive, and I avoid them wherever possible, across the board. So for any part of OD which produces these software update notifications, I'd prefer they all be switched off.
Hi. Is there any way I can really disable automatic update checks for these products? I detest unnecessary notifications on my system, and once OD has detected there's an update to one of the many software components, it nags every day to update. Even when I switch off update checks in the settings.

Hey all. I'm wondering if anyone has done any sound modding work with the game. I'm really not a fan of the voice command responses, especially the raspy Vasari voices. For my own sanity, I've replaced all the Vasari voices with corresponding TEC voices, but what would be really nice is a sound mod where someone replaced all the voices with something better. Anything out there like this? Thanks.

I've owned and played SoASE + Entrenchment for a while now and deeply enjoyed the Volumetric effects mod, but I recently purchased a new laptop and when I installed the game on it, I can't play the game with this mod enabled because the ships, structures and planets are not rendered. Hey all. I tried this mod and it looks like a top notch effort! A few issues: First, do you have any plans on setting up a forum of your own just for this mod? There's a lot of potential discussion on it. My friend and I made an enormous mod for Supreme Commander and we have our own forum. Its a MAJOR help in development.
