There is no "carved in stone" definition of what MUST be contained in a DX Theme. It is widely open to interpretation. Due to the vast, unlimited flexibility of DX, I think it would be impossible to set minimum standards either. I realize that they or us can't define what is to be included in the theme. But you have to have some standards as to what constitutes a theme. The skin I am talking about can barley by the stretch of the imagination be called a

I sure would like to know what guide lines moderators use to accept DXthemes. When I make a theme I try to upload a working theme. And to me a working theme is one that requires very little modification by the user to have a working desktop. I go to the trouble to name all objects so if the user ever has to find it in the objects list they can find it easily. I list all the most popular programs in the menus. If it's a text list I always put some text on the menu so the user can just clone the t

Sometimes you get burned. I took someone under my wing, and after a year and a half of help, they went thier own way and started thier own website. Alot of wasted hours on my part. Why do you feel it was a waste of your time? If they never thanked you for your time and effort I can understand being felt like you were used. But helping some one out is never a waste of time. Unless one expects to gain something from their help.

I don't think it's the fact that people are scared to comment they just don't care. All they want to do is download all they can for free. It's the good skinners that could help out the most but I have found that most of them are too busy cranking out skins to help out. Oh sure they find the time to pat each other on the back. And you will almost always see the same names on the comments of the popular skinners but hardly ever do you see them make comments on a new skinner. When I first started

Did you get permission from SKoriginals? That sounds like what you would need to post it. The suite you are talking about was a community effort done by a lot of skinners from skinning net. It would depend on what graphics you used as to who you would need permission from. If you used graphics from the W/B then you need to talk to SKOriginals like po said.

Alperium I'm with Po I like the halo the best. IMHO. The halo doesn't look right because it is in front of the planet and you have a large shadow over the planet, where is the light source for the halo? sorry but to me it just looks out of place... DesktopX and Windowblinds are two different programs. Download DesktopX themes to run with Desktopx and Windowblinds skins to use with Windowblinds.. However DESKTOPX can be run at the same Time with Windowblinds.
