the real question is who wants to carry me thru my first 10 ranked games so i can slide into gold ezpz Gotnades style

Sounds like great changes!
I don't think I've seen too many LCS games in awhile that put a solo laner vs 2 at the start ala old school.
Fair enough, Double Jungle is the generally-superior strategy, and i'll admit i forgot that is how LCS players do it now. That said, you might still get stuck in 2v1 lanes (or 1v0 with a freeze), which still plays to some of GPs strengths. And i bet incorrectly-rotated 2v1 matchups happen a lot more at our level of play.
- Not sure if he says in that video or if it was on his stream why GP isn't played competitively. Can't really handle 2v1 lanes at all and needs to hit level 13 to be worth a damn so he's not viable in LCS. So keep that in mind next time you want me to swap down to bot lane.
What makes GP less able to handle 2v1 now than he used to. GP used to be the /original/ 2v1 way back in Season 1 when 2v1 lanes weren't even really a th
Hey all, i won an Ashes of the Singularity key. All my friends either aren't interested in the game or don't have a computer that can run it. If you have a nice computer and are interested in an RTS game, let me know and i'll send it to you. i'm posting this to a few places so i get to choose favourites (muahaha), but, realistically, you can probably have it if you want it.
Don't worry. It is a substrate quantum ability that gives one node a huge temporary resource buff
f i understand correctly, the most-recent expansion will always be available in ranked. So players can buy the base game and get all the map/unit upgrades for free for use in Ranked? That is stupendous.
Depending on how much money you're sitting on, the new Video Cards are supposed to be coming out soon - AMD's new ones are supposed to be relatively cheap but good performance (eg, they aren't pushing the envelop quite as much but have similar performance as the current top-of-the-lines for a lower price) And, of course, take a look at the various deals on Newegg. They usually have pretty decent "bundles" where you get Tier-2 RAM/CPU/Cases/Mobo/PowerSupply all for $400-600
Yeah, that clip isn't 100% proving anything... Knife Fight is already tricky because bottom cannot double cap while top can, so playing top is already a huge advantage (even then double capping as topic is relatively easy to screw up compared to other maps). That said, 3 punishers @5:30 is pretty impressive!
i do the whole bomber rush but they never go for the engineers until every building in range is gone. any tips for that?
There's a few things at work here, and i think the end result is that it's is pretty difficult to target Engineers in real-time, in PvP. But my thoughts... First, both Hades and Punishers don't prioritize attacking well unless they have vision of the target already. So if you issue a move to a region, their weapon
As far as i know, i'm probably the only one in the world with "Master of the Singularity" - since no one has "Basically Like Worf" which is the easier version of it. Though there are several dozen people who have beaten Insane AI according to the metaverse - the metaverse is somewhat incomplete, so we don't know the exact situation. Anyway, if someone else beat me, feel free to let me know and take the glory :) Proof: http://imgur.com/a/Dkufq http://steamc
Huge props to Stardock for pushing out these releases weekly. Hopefully we will reach a point where weekly balance changes aren't needed :*) Really hoping this cuts down on Bomber shenanigans. i know a lot of people were upset with it (myself included). Have you thought about giving Incursion an Apollo - maybe a bad idea because a Bomber is the obvious counter to a deep Incursion - or upgrading Sentries to have very weak anti-air capabilities (think maybe a
i actually left CreateSpace a while ago - 2010 i think. i rotated to a Solar Engineer company that promptly went out of business because of the Solyndra fiasco XD From there i pivoted to a subsidiary of Lockheed Martin that did logistics planning software for the Marines. Was really interesting idea, and i had some interesting projects + self-managed work. But was not great pay \: Now i work for a social-media sentiment-analysis company. Lots of machine-learning
This sort of confuses me because it seems like you're throwing shit while upset about people (previously?) throwing shit. So that's awk. Anyway, i haven't played with you - or anyone really - in months so i don't really have much to add there, and you have been pretty open about trying to improve + apologizing when you do screw up (which we all do). So that's sort of all i have to say on that matter at least. What i will talk about is a little bit le
Well played on that first game. Pretty frustrating how my Fighter wouldn't target your Bomber though ]: i had it out before you even got to my base and it didn't do anything, which tilted me pretty hard. Could have built a Falcon on my metal though. Well played with your Avatar micro, though.
O(log n) doesn't seem so long . . .
Really like the idea of "withdrawal", but i do agree that "flee" doesn't make sense for Martyrs, for example, who should sacrifice themselves for the rest of the army. It is in their name! i've also sorely missed the ability to set an orientation similar to how Total War does it (never played the game, but it was demonstrated as a part of the upcoming TW:Warhammer release), though spamming small movement commands does the job. Here's a few ideas i had in another thread, t
Fantastic! i know that some people get frustrated playing against the same players repeatable, but i relish the experience (assuming they are a close match, of course).
Hey Frogboy, Here's my review of the game. Hit legend last night, woot! A lot of it was thanks to that one game with you, i learned an incredible amount just from that game and was able to leverage that up to defeat my archnemisis: Gandalf, who had given me a heck of a lot of trouble. You also still owe me a Steam Friend Request! The following is the review that i'll post to Steam, meant for people who haven't played the game but are aware of the genre. A s
