Sorry for repeating what a lot of people have already said, but I'm at the office and I'd really hate to be caught with the Demigod forum page on computer (i.e., I've skimmed the entire thread). -----------Demo ideas----------- Do 8 demos; one for each hero. It's only playable online and you get to test all heroes. Maybe 4 demoes, with General Assassin's packs. Sure you can download all demos, but if you're going for a full download, that mean's your so much
Don't worry, we are working on a Demigod MyColors theme, I'm sure we'll have some process to alert all applicable owners of the game, pirates excluded.
A gigantic watermark "YOUR COPY IS PIRATED" would be nice, although a bit cynic. I guess you guys are busy with fixing other stuff on the game, but if there's a way to send that to un-updated versions of the game (ie, pirates), that would be hilarious.</p
For $4,095 and only 8 minions at your disposal that can be easily killed by a lvl3 or lvl4 spell, i don't see how "broken" the game can be. It's a good strategy for early game, but a lvl15 DG will swat at them like flies and like flies they'll fall off the map.
- too much chaos ! team clash with several genrals and a rook occuping the full screen how u wanna spot ur own hero dont even mention the enemy u wanna kill... Yeah its a major problem in the game I think the developers should add team icons on the right side of the screen with info about HP and if needed you can cast a spell on the icon and not on the DG
this would be especially helpful f
Keep the reports coming. All Forums that are game related have applauded how open and straight forward you've been with dealing with the anticipated release, less-than-perfect net code and customer relationship in general. I believe having these status reports give a certain feeling of belonging and interaction with the team instead, making us part of the bug-fixing, feature-improving process that both GPG and Stardock is under. Keep it up, you're becoming the ne
i think it could work on a console. Casting spells could automatically assign targets and just left-shoulder or right-shoulder target quickly, AoE spells can move rather quickly with the Analog sticks and most spells can't be cast that far from DG (except for Reg's Snipe, but that is a quick right/left-shoulder press away). General DG would be a pain to control though; I'm imagining the DPD for Minions Only, Minions+DG, and a DG select scheme. And since minions do
this is a great idea!!! I don't know how many people would love to just sit around, but as a general DG, I think it would kick butt!!! as a Balance, friendly DGs gain a fraction of the XP they would earn outside the AoE, making the Arbiter useful but not wanted, ah his tragedy continues!
The T command for Center Camera on DG could use a couple of tweaks; auto-focus could become "intelligent camera", where the camera detects another DG (either friend or foe) and adjusts automatically (roation + zoom) to encompass both, that way you can see if you partner needs help, or your enemy is charging you, etc. Cloaked opponents would not affect camera behavior. this could be optional or even tiered, so as to let players that prefer, to have a manual camera, a ca
Detected mines should be able to be attacked and destroyed. Ranged attackers with with no damange (if outside of AoE) and Melee with only a fraction when hitting them and accidentally stepping on them.
I'm pretty sure that using the Heart does not make the DG stop and then move while healing. I've using it quite a bit for retreating when overpowered (or just to get of a AoE and then go back in with full mana and life to keep attacking) and the DG doesn't break stride.
I really don't think the graphics are all that amazing. They are nice; but far from eye-popping, jaw-dropping "best graphics of the year award". As someone else stated before, I'm sure you won't get a refund just because you don't like the game. The problem is, the demo (actually working beta) was only available to pre-purchasers. So there really was no way of --legally-- testing the game without buying. Yes, I also believe Demigod is greatl
