You have the same CPU as I do, and the same memory, but you have a much better video card (mine's a GeForce 7900 GS). I can play at 1280 x 1024 with all settings on high and I only drop down to Sim speed 2 near the end of a 4v4 and -2 shortly after start in 5v5 (I don't join 5v5s any more). Lowering my video settings doesn't help my sim speed. On a dual core processor, one core is dedicated to rendering and the other handles everything else including sound, and 2.2

With a memory bandwidth of only 9.6 Gb/sec the Quadro NVS 135M is slower than a GeForce 6600GT (16.0 Gb/sec). It does have Pixel Shader 3.0, so it meets the minimum hardware requirements, but it may be too slow to get any reasonable FPS. Wait for the demo.

I don't have to use /serverproxyonly anymore! [e digicons]k5[/e] I tried playing a game without and it worked perfectly. (Well, almost perfectly, our team lost, but that's 'cause I still suck at playing this game; it had nothing to do with the connection). I guess I should quit blaming Qwest for my problems [e digicons][/e] (although it was their modem/router that was part of the problem).

I had an Actiontec M1000 from Qwest and was having no luck connecting to anyone. Since it was still within the 30 days that I received it, I asked Qwest to swap it out for their wireless model, a Motorola 3347 (it also allows up to 4 wired connections). It took about two weeks, but I eventually received the new modem/router. With the new router I could now connect to 4 other people, but never 5. Worked great for 2v2 games, but nothing bigger. I was pretty sure th

I was the TB player in that game with 2 Reg vs TB & QoT. I was totally surprised to see that game mentioned in this post. Especially since he was frustrated by TB! It was kind of an honor really. Thank-you! I say this since this was actually my first multiplayer game of DemiGod. I hadn't been able to connect to any multiplayer game until the June 3rd update. The game was labelled Noobs (or something like that). The QoT player was no Noob

Well I finally got into a game! (On the third try, so everything isn't perfect yet) The proxy servers seemed to help, though. There were several proxy connections to me (but not all). One guy on our side dropped at launch so it was 2 on 3, but it turned into an awesome game. Lasted over an hour with almost half of it with everybody at level 20. We had their Citadel down to about 1/2 strength when they captured both of our portals and staged a comeback.

This happens to me too. Game connections worked fine for me until Qwest "upgraded" my Internet to 7Mbps and gave me a new modem/router. So, I am in the unique position of being sure that the router is the problem. Even in DMZ, the router is causing a problem where 1 or 2 people can't connect to me. My router is an Actiontec M1000, and searching these forums, I see there are several people having trouble with this modem/router. The only

I tried both recommendations above as well. I get the update prompt, but when I click it DemiGod closes, I get returned to Impulse, and nothing else happens. No update.
