I had this problem over the weekend. My game crashed while trying to get into a custom game. After the crash I was not able to log in at all. I tried rebooting, restarting the app many, many times and changing my password and username through Impulse. None of these worked and I finally went onto the ingame irc channel and asked for help. Most of the suggestions were just what I had already tried but one person told me that this happens sometimes and try again in

And hopefully when implemented it will be only groups versus groups and never a group join versus random players.
They are pressing problems, most of them are not situational and DO happen to everyone or a lot of people - if you are going to make a thread like this then you need to keep it updated, otherwise there is no point. You already have things on the list that haven't happened to me, so your 100% of users point is moot..

Same here. Some of the issues the OP mentioned don't apply to me, so that's not 100%...
Would you mind stating which
light side is getting just as much 2v1 so i don't get the point of this thread. It's not like the light siders have any influence over how often people drop out of a game before the loading is complete.
I'm not 100% sure on this one; without any actual stats backing it up we can't be sure at all. I wouldn't be surprised though if this happened more frequently to the dark players only because there are more light players overall than there are dark players. S
Sometimes I can understand someone who uses abbreviations while typing if they are doing something in real-time; however the amazing thing about forum posting is that you have the time to write something in an intelligent and well thought-out manner and can even edit your own posts before you submit them. What I really can't stand are the "abbreviations" that take longer to type than the actual word or abbreviations like "ur", "urself" or "ne1" for example. Really? It take
Can someone convert this into readable english? I think I get the gist of it, but I'm not really sure what he is yelling about.
I'm not at home so I can't see what version I have, but from what it sounds like, you are already updated completely.
Well it sounds like you have at least updated it once, else you would have no problem playing in the .91 games. To make sure that you are on the latest version though you can on Impulse click on the impulse logo lightning thingy in the upper-left corner. That will bring up a menu and one of the options will be "Check for Updates". Click that and if there are any updates it will open up a new tab on the Impulse thingy that will allow you to update Demigod. If you are
Yeah .91 is the pirated pre-updated version. The last time I used gamranger (about a week ago) the legit version games had .93 in the game title.
UB has a base speed of 6.3 so to get a 14 speed rating the UB would need 14/6.3 = 2.22 or +122% speed bonus. I'll take a look at the max speed a UB can get without any other help from other DGs. Swift Anklet +15% <a href="http://demigod.wik
Or if you are like me with camera movement using wasd, Q and E will rotate the camera. I did not know about the ctrl button though; thanks for the advice on that one!

Sorry for somewhat hijacking this thread after answering your question, but this thread made me think of this. If there are AI, who's computer is controlling the AI's decisions? Is it the host of the game and he relays the movements of the AI along with his movements?
If the ping next to the player on the scoreboard is 0, that means the player is being controlled by AI.
The 25% movement speed decrease is a little much as well.
To me that doesn't sound too bad. Looking at his post that would be a level 10 or 15 skill AND to have it take effect, a critical hit would first have to proc.
Yes, in Impulse right click on Demigod and select "Open application folder". Go into the bin subfolder and in there, a PDF called DemigodManual will be in there. Edit: Is there lag in forum posting or something? It took me a total of 30 seconds to write this and there was two replies already in that time...
I don't know for sure; but I believe that the code would be linked to your Impulse account and once the code has been used it will be deactivated so no one else would be able to use the code. If you are planning on getting the game I would definitely reccomend a source that would have some sort of protection and have a proof of purchase (only $40 directly from Impulse).
Stardock comment from another thread:
That should already be that way. T-Man and I have defaulted it to Nightmare since yesterday. Bara

That should already be that way. T-Man and I have defaulted it to Nightmare since yesterday. Bara
Well that is good to know! I was playing late last night though (11 pm PST) and by the time I was level 5 (the other humans were level 3 and 4) they had a total of 8 kills off of the 2 AI. So either the fix wasn't in by that time or nightmare AI really aren't that special.
With 1600 players and a 50% win ratio at an average of 150 favor points per win and 10 per loss would mean an average of 80 points per game per player. When stats started to be recored again albeit not really correctly, Light had about 250k points to go and the patch was released about a day and a half before the tournament reached 500k. 250000/(1600*80) = 1.95 games per person / 1.5 days = 1.3 games per person per day. That is with a 50%
I have played single player for 20+ hrs and I have played mp games some. But I dont know anything about this capture lock on flags what is it and where in the UI can you select it? Now I have only played 3 demigods so far, is it a rook only or something feature? Sorry if its a stupid question, but seriously I consider myself a fast learner and never even heard of this.
Capture lock is an item you can
Well it helped that stats started to be recorded; however with them not being recorded correctly I don't really think either side could really brag too much about winning this round. Not exactly fair with 3v1 matches and being given losses for games that you join but are alone due to players being dropped. I've played two games (one of which was the 3v1) and the other that I won didn't get recorded since the last patch; however I was 1 and 4 in pantheon somehow.
Also while we are on the topic of AI in pantehon matches. Last night I played a game with 4 humans and 2 AI (this was the way the game was set up from the beginning...no humans dropped) and when I entered the game I found it was 3 humans (on the light side) versus me and 2 extremely stupid AI allies. The only thing that AI brings to these multiplayer games is a higher rate of gold for the opposing teams. Because of the AI on my team it felt more like the game was 4v1.
If you have wings, you go faster *period*
Maybe there isn't much wind where ever they are, or maybe his legs are just as powerful as his wings causing him to go at the same speed no matter if he is using legs or wings. I personally also agree that Regulus is fine as is, and adding speed to him would definitely impact the balance in this game.
I just worry you'll get sick of seeing these posts.
Haha, the amazing thing about forums is that if someone does get sick of the updates (I do not see how you could though), that person has the option to...wait for it...not read the post. Before I bought Demigod, I had never heard of Stardock; however from what I have seen in the past week with customer support, you guys have definitely moved onto my sh
