What DID change with the patch was reintroducing bots only games as a regular occurence in Pantheon. Just saying.
Yeah, this makes all pantheon statistics completely meaningless IMO
Agreed. I just looked at the top player on Forces of Light and about 90% of his games his opponents received 0 favor. I'm assuming here that means that they are bots, otherwise they would have at least 10 favor. When bots are intro
@wicked I find sedna is only a problem early on when spit doesn't do as much. Due to better creep killing and constant harrassment I find she starts to lose out very quickly.
Agreed I only have real issues with Sedna early game and if I'm in the same lane as her I just sit by my tower and farm creeps. By the time I get to level 5-7 I usually can handle Sedna. Foul grasp works wonders on her.
Brothers was more of a side note, the real point I was making is: Player Team Entity Favor Points Result XeroT
http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/394240/player/20483/ This is a Pantheon game I attempted to play earlier today. Everyone connected within the first 5 seconds but it looks like there was connection issues (I ended up with all AI). I thought I had seen everything, but I'm once again surprised and find a game 2v2 (2 dark and 2 light), there is one winner and 3 losers... P.S. 2v2 and t
When that happens, we’ll probably release that as v1.01 and start the second epoch (stats reset, player stats reset with access to their first epoch stats in their account).
Frogboy's post, "Demigod: Monday update in the works"
I don't say put all your money into citadel upgrades. I usally spend about 2-3k before I buy the first upgrade. As soon as we hit rank 3 I will go and buy the gold upgrade though, no reason not to get that one. After I buy that upgrade I will either purchase the xp and building regen upgrades or the HoL (depending on how much my team is actually playing like a team). Those 3 upgrades are essential and are must-haves in nearly every situation. After my HoL, I wi

All the minions are just exp buffs right now, if you buy priests on my team i'm going to be upset with you unless everyone is lvl 18, and at that point angels arent an issue and dont survive anything. As said before in this thread; this game is a team game. I would much rather be the on to bring down an enemy demigod to 10% and then have someone snipe or kill him from long-range than just me killing him and no assist being given. Would you rather have 1k gold to yourself or 500 gold for yourself and 1k for your teammate? From reading some of these replies and the OP I'm going to assume there are some out there that would prefer the 1k over the more team-beneficial 1.5k.&n
I'm not sure if we are reading the same thread; I see posts arguing both sides, but the majority (albeit not a large majority) sounds like they aren't useless...
Ever since I learned that post mortem doesn't work on plagued targets, I have stopped putting points into plague. With 3-5 well-placed hits you can completely destroy a creep wave with post mortem. The only time I might consider putting a point into plague is if the majority of my opponents are being very annoying with using HoL, otherwise it would be a detriment to my abilities to waste a point on plague.
Another thing that the angels are good for are chasing demigods when they are fleeing and preventing them from using HoL until the demigod can get the angels off of them.
Just hit cancel and start another search for a new game, kicking shouldn't be an option in pantheon or skrimish.
This is what I do currently; but the problem is there are people doing this on purpose so they can get a bunch of free wins. That's why I think as soon as someone gets kicked or leaves the game should either replace them or terminate the current game. Otherwise we will have people abusing the system.
Its because of those people who take hours to connect to anyone. I've been connected to two of the three players in the game, and after five to ten minutes the third person still hasn't connected at all. Though usually when I kick someone I crash to the desktop, so I end up just leaving the connection attempt and find something else.
I would agree with this if kicking then found another player to replace the kicked player, but this is not

Usually, as a UB, I buy items in this order: Start of game I buy: Boots of Speed The next three items I always buy but depending on the situation the order of purchase varies: Guantlets of Brutality <a href="http://demigod.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_breastplate
Trebuchets are also pretty important to get first in fortress games. If you get the trebuchet first you can have your fortresses knock down half of the enemy fortresses with the trebuchet.
Then you still have the 4 seconds of the -10% from my diseased claws. With base speeds of 5.4 for the rook and 6.3 for the UB I still think the UB would be faster. But really by the time we get far enough into the game for poisoned arrows, my UB wouldn't be the one running away :D EDIT: Actually most likely the game would be over by the time we ever reached that point.
Rook with poisoned daggers and poisoned arrows says hi.
Um, UB with boots of speed, swift anklet, inner beast and diseased claws says hi back :)
Yes, I do like how it is right now. I may be and probably am being biased (I primarily play UB); but in most games I play I like to be fast. To me the base speed of UB is excruciatingly slow and I always purchase the boots of speed at the start of every game. By level 10 I usually have the +10% speed from passive abilities and when favor is not buggy I get the 15% speed from the swift anklet. I love the speed that those items give. [quote who="kh
The actual problem is not necessarily the speed - it is the fact that you can attack WHILE MOVING. This is fantastically broken. They will be continuously wailing on you for as long as you can run and there is literally no escape. They don't even need to be faster, they can chain attack you while moving at the SAME SPEED. You should need to be stationary while attacking. Now same speed heroes get one shot on a fleeing target. Chasing someone results in far les

An issue that I can see being problematic with a demo that has limited access to the demigods is that when the demo is released there will be an influx in nubmers of those select demigods. Also with the limited map selection the players that own the game will learn to avoid those maps like the plague if they want better competition and variety of demigod opponents. A demo should not ever have any negative impact on players that have bought the game.
Does that actually store any information about your login state? I thought the only thing that it stored about login information is the username and password (in plain-text). If the user while trying to login manually inputted the username and password the pref file should have no impact on it?
I would think something along the lines of giving a user full access to the game through impulse for x games or y days (whichever comes first) would be a pefect demo. Gives the user full roam of the game to see if they like it and once the demo expires if they wish to continue playing they will have to purchase the game. The player would be able to use their x games on whatever mode they prefer be it single player or multiplayer and they would be treated as any other player in the
