Purging and reinstalling worked like a charm. Thanks very much for coming to my aid. And next time I will start a new post.

For no apparent reason my installed Start10 v1.56 is no longer actually changing the appearance of my menu which remains in the standard Windows 10 manner no matter what troubleshooting I've tried. The regular Window 10 Start Menu remains active whether or not I choose Start10's "Windows 7 Style" or "Modern" style. (The Start10 "Modern" menu was my go-to menu before all this happened.) I've reinstalled the program several times after deleting all program folders and cleaning registry. D
Tim - yours are the skins I always jump on as soon as soon as one is released. Are you updating anything as you de-Master each of these skins? Should I download them again? Thanks for the elegance.
I meant to say that I won't disable my antivirus permanently for WindowBlinds. As it is, I did so yesterday to uninstal and completely reinstall 6.3. And everything went just fine. UNTIL I turned my computer off overnight. This morning I was back where I started yesterday. I am showing that WindowBlinds 6.3 is installed, etc., etc. however on my screen I am seeing the XP default skin. How do I go back to a previous version of WindowBlinds? I "archived" on the installation of 6.3.
I am also having significant troubles after today's update. On my screen I am seeing the XP default skin. However going to "Display/Properties/Appearance" I am shown that WindowBlinds is installed and that my selected WindowBlind is selected and operational. However the WindowBlinds icon is NOT appearing in my System tray. When I select WindowVBlinds (the application) I am only told that I will have to rebo

I had such problems with SoundPackager that I finally uninstalled the application. It had completely fouled my XP Media Center's ability to hold on to ANY set of sounds for any period of time, whether using SoundPackager or through Control Panel/Sounds. For example, I had installed OfficeSounds from Microsoft which was applied for years with whatever version of MS Office I am using (now MS Office 2007). Well, SoundPackager managed to "lose" those sounds whenever it was loaded and any Office appl
I am also quite amazed to suddenly see "Master Skins" and "Purchase" buttons! And the fact that everything is rated 5 stars right out of the box, without a single download, is utter hogwash! Particularly as these skins appear to be insignificant v5.0 upgrades to earlier skins released by excellent designers. I'm grateful if they want to spend the energy on breathing new life into an fine, old piece of work, but I'm outraged that someone thinks that the new, best thing is to try to SELL it to me!
Yes, a reboot helps it. Once. And then the ZoneAlarm panel will disappear again. And you will have to reboot, And it will disappear. And reboot again... I don't think this problem was resolve but from the lack of other comments perhapsonly a few of us are running into this?
I just checked into this forum to see whether anyone else was having the problem with IconPackager refusing to stay open, making a brief appearence on screen, etc. Now I learn I'm not alone and I, too, have Azenis package installed. Now, I've deleted it and will reinstall IconPackager. Then to see whether everything works before checking on other recently installed packages. === Back again... That WAS the problem. Everything is peachy no
OK, but there isn't a "single" image directory. And the individual icons or pngs don't necessarily have distinct names sufficient to allow them to stand on their own in a large directory. Do you create a different image directory for each and every theme? Also, when I have OD running, when asked to install a theme it will only show the initial "default" theme, no matter how many others I have unzipped and "installed" into the OD folder. Is ther
Hi Tim, Usually, I don't comment at all. I've bought all of your packs and downloaded everything else. Yours are virtually the only skins always rotated on my machine and I await every new one with bated breath. Sorry to hear you're not going to get the new Porsche immediately. I've noticed your site has recently been showing a partial 404 error and hope it is only a result of your redo. I await the new pack on your site and will jump like
On the old site I was able to limit the "Gallery" to the particular libraries I wanted to see available. In other words, I did not have to see references to libraries of skins to programs in which I have no interest. This new site does not allow me to trim the very lengthy list of "galleries" of libraries available for vie
A few very quick questions: After a year or so of WindowBlinds (v2 & v3) I am about to install v4. But before doing so I decided to check out my Program Files/Object Desktop/WindowBlinds folder. There I was surprised to find a number of seemingly duplicate folders, for example: "BluePlame" and "BLUEPHLAME[1]", "ivory_wb" and "IVORY_WB[1]", "passive" and "PASSIVE[1]". In each case, each folder is full of files. 1) Why are these folders duplicated? 2) Would it be appropriate to delete
Thanks, gents. I have pored through those individual skin folders but haven't found icons or fonts yet. I'll go back I re-examine more closely -- the little devils must be there somewhere.
When I click the "Download" button, the chosen skin downloads to a "temporary folder" and subsequently is found in the WindowBlinds folder, under Object Desktop. HOWEVER, this procedure doesn't produce any Icon or Font subfolders from the download. Yet the authors are referring to Icon and Font folders I should be able to find. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/notsure.gif" border=0
