Imagine if the game was 10$ less like it should have been...

There are at least 2 ways to play Oak and a 3rd one which is a bit hybrid. You can go assassin style build with shield, penitence and soul power as main skills. You can go full minion build with raise ward, divine justice, soul power and once your army is big, bottom skill enhancing minions. And finally you can do a mix raise ward & penitence, couple of others here and there. Surge of Faith in all builds is a must though.
Minion Generals play differently than Assassin spec. Your goal is not to kill others, it's to support others, pressure at key points and since you need less money than Assassin spec to be a nuisance, you can upgrade the Citadel for the team and let your real Assassins do their job.
Yep, if Fireball is 300 dam for 300 mana, then bite should be exactly 150 dam and heal for 300 mana or Fireball should do 600 for 300 mana whichever. Can't believe they let that one through.
Get a grip. Pirating has become the same as "Demo" lately for a lot of people. Things will get pirated, always. The thing is with Demigod..there are actually a lot of pirates picking up the game after playing for a while. You can't do anything against piracy. All you can do is hope your game is awesome and has unique features only available through paying the full game. In the case of Demigod that would be Pantheon..once it starts working and a competitive price (which
Quoting TheBigOne, reply 13demigod uses a net_lag of 350ms so anything below that is fine when it is steady, it will take some time til people realize this though. its NOT like that i did MANY games trying to check how it works with usa it just DOESNT its not theory it is like that, in games with usa if you ping 200 the game
I've been playing with US from Europe with 200-250 ping and it was perfectly fine. Most of time, heavy lags come from unstable connexions like wireless, lack of uploading bandwidth or spikey connexion. Rares is a player playing Demigod in graphic settings his computer cannot handle, thus creating a burden on the CPU and creating lag in the network interface. Ping is an indication, but it's not the only thing creating the lag. It's more like a chance. The higher the ping, the h
Minions builds are slow at first, but the longer the game lasts, the stronger they become to the point your army is really a pain for anyone trying to come at you. Minions builds are very vulnerable to AOE builds though. On the other hand, a single target assassin build is really easy prey to the minion general late game. Don't take the minion enhancing skill line until you have your maximum army, only then it becomes very useful. Unless I get targeted early on by assa
Oak can counter Regulus and UB with assassin type build, high armor and run speed. But you become vulnerable to spellcasters.
Personnaly I think the game is fairly well balanced. Balanace complaints tend to appear because we can't seem to find a solution to a particular Hero that killed us. The problem is mainly that your hero cannot have ALL his skills. If your opponent has the build that demolishes yours, you can't do much. Your best course of action at this point is to flee and fight the other Demigods and hope for one of your teammates to have a build able to take on that ennemy hero. Individual
Someone who has access to those items has many more hours of gameplay than you do. You will get crushed regardless of Favor items or not. They are a nice gimmick to keep playing, that's it.
I tried a lot of ways and I really don't like the one depicted here. I seem to fair much better overall with my army of spirits and minions. Getting Surge of Faith as soon as it's available is a battle changer and often switches the momentum to the team with Oak. Hell, if ennemy Demigods don't take you out in battle with grunts around, they are in for some serious troubles. Oak alone can hold off up to 3 Demigods at Citadel by helping the waves of grunt.
Dear Pirates, don't be stupid like me and buy this overpriced game at 40$+ and wait for it to either be lowered below 30$ or content added.
I disagree, I like the fact you must avoid death at all cost.
Demigod has a much bigger problem than DRM or no DRM. It's overpriced for the content it offers.
You can join DEMIGOD FM1 to FM10 with pass demigod. Then you'll see advertised regional hamachi networks for ping issues.
Warez does not have a key and cannot connect to Internet play on your authentication server. And unless you are monitoring Hamachi, I don't see how you came up with those numbers, it's really fishy. But yeah, if you hadn't tried to sell Demigod 40$+, but 20-25$, you'd see a lot more people buying it. Your game just does not offer enough for the price compared to something like Battleforge, DoW 2, Empire: Total War or even Warcraft 3 and its mods.
Isn't the beta over...?
Game won't be released in Europe till May. Those are demo keys working only until official european release.
I could live with 20% more but its more like 50%...
You are comparing digital version at 40$ with retail box at 50 euros. The fair comparison is 50$ retail box vs 50 euros European box which, again, includes VAT while US version does not. You aren't arguing the good point. Demigod is simply overpriced for what it offers compared to other games, even in its 40$ digital version.
it doesn't explain the different prices between France and Germany.
France retail box version is still at Pre-Order price, the game being officially released only in May there (localisation delay). Once officially released, it will be 50 euros, just like Germany.
Uhhhhhh... I don't think there are ANY RTS' with DedServs...
Battleforge has dedicated servers.
Sadly, quite spot on review. They judge the game compared to what has already been released and Demigod is very lacking in some parts. I had high hopes in the game, but I'm disapointed by the connectivity issues and it's NOT worth 40$ digital purchase, sorry. It's 25$ MAX for the features we have available. Battleforge has so far been vastly superior, especially now that its economy is running fine and you don't need to use real money to get cards anymore. I might come
Hum, as legitimate owner, I think it's worth complaining that's the pirated version of the game works better than the bought one. How can you say that the pirated version works better than the bought one? Especially since there isn't any DRM in the pirated version (nothing to crack)
Because I can play on hamachi without problems, but whenever I try to play online on Pantheon nothing is working? There is only
