I tested out some sedna builds last night and while you can get pretty damn rediculous regen going, its nothing compared to what you guys were talking about. I could tank 3 AI's, but it required my heal spell in addition to my passive regen. Looks like a bug to me.

There are 5 or 6 threads already detailing exactly what you need to know. Considering this forum is currently only 3 (possibkly 4) pages long, yuo dont even need the search function to find them. Just take a look, Im sure you will pick up a lot of information.
Oh of course, you should always do your best to keep control of the flags. But once you hit level 4, you should stop taking the experience gain into account when judging priorities. For instance: If Im coming back from the crystal and Im level 3 playing UB. Lets say Im 3/4 of the way to level 4. Coming up to mid field I see I have 2 choices. I can go after the enemy DG or I can cap the flag thats close by. At level 3, with almost level 4, I would cap the flag before pursuing t
Yes Hard and Nightmare AI's cheat. They certainly get bonus gold and experience. I dont know about health regen. This is because it is incredibly difficult to make a "good" AI for this game that wont "rape" all human players. So they have 2 AI's. Both are pretty much exactly the same. The only difference being easy AI rarely use teleports so they are easier to kill without stuns. They could have programmed a better AI but can you imagineplaying against computer oponents who make all t
[quote who="sanhosee" reply="3" id="2172829"] Flag capture is a bit of a double-edged sword really. If you spend your time running from flag to flag you'll easily fall behind in experience points, especially in the early levels when killing enemy creeps is a valid method of leveling. [/quote] Just to clarify, since some wrong information was presented: Capturing flags is the BEST way to gain experience at levels 1-4. Each capped flag is around the equi
New players often wonder why they are outleveled so quickly in the beginning of the game. Try the following: When the screen is spinning in, click the item shop. Buy your item and immediately click a flag halfway in the map to get your demigod moving. Choose your skill and select your favor item while on the move. Take over the flag. This can all be done BEFORE the first monster waves hit each other mid field. Alternatively, buy a teleport scroll/amulet of teleportation and te
[quote who="BrothersGrim" reply="1" id="2171530"]You accrue gold per second based on the number of gold mines your team controls plus any gold upgrades purchased at the Citadel. If you, or your minions do at least 25% damage to a creep you will get gold for the kill, regardless of your position on the map. If you are within 30 yards of any dying creep you will get exp for the kill weather you did a killing blow or not. Exp does not var
Technically AF isnt an activatable ability. Sure you do activate it, but it is closer to a passive ability then activatable as once its on, you dont have to click more buttons. I play Reg without snipe, or any other activatable (aside from AF) untill I have maxed both AF and attributes and have one point in Maim and Scope. Then and only then do I start taking activatables and I normally go with Mines or Mark. So someone DID say they didnt use activatables, it was me. G
Yes Erebus with bats is pretty brutal on Crucible. I have a build for him that relies on minions, mist and bats to do just that. It requires high mana regen but once you have it you bat over the gap, walk in front of the portal, DONT TAKE THE FLAG, and turn into mist. Enemies will come out of the portal, die in your mist and become nightwalkers. This is INCREDIBLY frustrating for your oponents as, if you can stay in mist long enough, there is nothing they can do about it. Once they realise th
I dont play sedna often, but from what I have seen and gathered, you really dont need ALL the healing abilities. Go with either her passives or her active. If you get both, you spend a lot of skill points that could really help you in an area where you are weak on something you already have covered. Ill let a sedna player take it from there.
You know, many people swear by them, but as far as I am concerned unless you are fixing a massive flaw in your character (Rooks slow speed) or enhancing an already very high atribute to make it godlike (UB's speed) or require it for your roll in the team (your the one runnign around caping flags) I dont find it all that useful. Now, a speed buff is always good to have, dont get me wrong, and taking it certainly wont have a negative effect on you, but I always get the feeling there
Sorry for the double post as well as the mess above. Dont know what happened and I cant fix it. Wont let me do multiple quotes (which is what caused that mess). To find what I am talking about, just stay in the same box as what was mentioned and scroll down. Again, sorry folks, didnt know it would do this. EDIT: Ok, all fixed now. Damn quote tags Grrrrr
[quote] So I really like Oak, but I find it hard to survive the early game, and even if I do I have an impossible time killing off other DGs. By the endgame I am usually unkillable, provided there's a source of creeps around for me to leech health off of... but I hardly ever pull in any kills, which leaves me with little gold.[/quote] Well lets see what we can do. The person I play with most plays Oak and he doesnt have any sort of trouble killing DG's. Maybe I can impart some o
I find maim to be superior to extra levels of scope. The first level of scope is imperitive as it allows you to fire on towers without fear of counterattack as you mentioned. Any more levels really dont seem to be very effective if you ask me. Id rather put points into attrobutes then more levels of scope. Increase in damage and attack speed (so you get more damage as you were trying to get with scope) plus HP, hp regen, mana, mana regen and armor. About main, the first point gives 5%
[quote who="TheTrav" reply="5" id="2170436"]Oh, and I've heard people say consumables make a big difference, but so far I haven't been feeling like I am missing them... I'm a fairly conservative (defensive) player and tend to play on small (4 or 6 player) maps so teleport is less necessary[/quote] Consummables are really dependant on the game. I generally go without any. Occasionally I will buy a health poition (matched against 2 regulus or some other equally non-sensical bullshit).</
The problem is your doing EXACTLY what the ranged player wants you to do. Next time you play against a ranged player try this: Alter your initial buy and get a potion. The first time you see the ranged demigod move a little to far from his tower (advancing to a flag to place a circle of fire is a perfect example) attack him, chase him, right back to his towers and get a few more whacks in. Retreat, use your potion and wait for the next wave. What you have
[quote who="ZephyrTR" reply="25" id="2170976"] What makes Enhanced Attributes so "huge"? I don't understand where that sentiment is coming from. My argument is that if programmers are going to program functions and create animations for four (and sometimes six) active abilities, there seems to be a focus there on the active abilities. Maybe every player won't choose to get all four in one game, and that's likely where the idea of Enhanced Attributes came in, but I doubt
I often play tower spamming Rook. Its a very satisfying strategy as long as you realise what you roll is. Perhaps I can give you some advice. The worst thing that can happen to a tower spamming rook is to have his towers destroyed. With a 12 second cooldown and a hefty enough mana cost, taking out the towers can be a real pain to him. Early on he will run out of mana very quickly. Shouldnt be a problem for you to take them down and keep them down. Later on in the game
[quote who="Annatar11" reply="11" id="2165271"] All of this is PURE theorycraft. I have tested none of it. The problem with Vengeance isn't the damage that it does, which is decent.. but that you have to be close to use it and, here's the kicker - you can't interrupt the 2 second form change. Regulus isn't really built for melee combat, and he can get torn to shreds by a heavy/fast melee damage dealer, especially if he's unable to move for the 2 seconds it's activating. Sure i
Im sure the skill was more powerful and through Beta ended up being nerfed a little too much. Interrupt on normal attacks is a VERY powerful ability. Especially on a character that can relly solely on his normal attack. I want to take a second stab at Vengeance. The usesage of the ability doesnt seem very good but consider this: 500 AoE Damage in 10 Radius 2 sec cast, 5 sec cooldown. 0 Mana cost. My powergamer senses are ti

But I agree it's really shocking.[/quote] Yup, very dissapointed in that one as well. I wouldnt take either of these skills in any situation. Fortunately, Regulus is a good solid character just with his passives, mines, sni
[quote who="ZephyrTR" reply="14" id="2164837"]I'm not surprised to find some people finding real uses for Enhanced Attributes, but uvfragm's post in particular is upsetting. Never do I want anyone to be able to make a kill on someone simply by right clicking on them. These builds sound like the maximum output from the minimum input -- and you could argue that its the uses of gold and the premeditation of the build that makes it legit, but it nonetheless makes the game far les
Im of the same opinion. Should be buffed. Not worth the skill point and that late in the game, an interrupt isnt going to help. Especially such an unreliable one.
