"post's" and "thing's" are nouns being used in their possessive form, I believe you intended to use them in their plural form - "postes" and "thinges".

Yes, shame on you for wanting to see a girlfight crae.
Don't listen to her Cat, she "chooses" you, she's calling you out. Girlfight, girlfight, girlfight!
I have, mind you, it was the same person who thought that web design and programming was "point and click", and couldn't understand why a company shouldn't use a web page made in publisher exclusively from MS clipart, and I therefore hold this person's opinion in extremely low regard. I just like things to be pretty, and it gives me a kick when my friends ask what OS I am running.
A replaceable Flash logo/animation would be kind of cool. If you don't mind my asking, what language is Kewlpad developed in?
For a while now I've been something of a malcontent when it comes to my OS. I complained that the Windows interface was boring, the Luna interface takes up too much space, the OSX interface, though I quite like it now, I originally described as a "candy nightmare". Now that I have ObjectDesktop, I am empowered to right all the wrongs of OS visual design. So I got to thinking, though I'm pretty much restricted in the nature of the controls, what would I have done differently in designing any of t
Is it worth another post just to say "hehehe"? Probably.
Hey Frogboy, I know how expensive it is to run a site, and I haven't had anything nearly as popular as your site. I have however, found that there are very few, but still some, good banner companies out there that have survived the "magical" internet advertising model and continue to pay good rates. One such company is www.advertwizard.com, who pay in British pounds, which is always very nice, and it's not hard to get signed up. If making a spot for a single, reasonably unobtrusive banner is som
I don't believe there is, it's just the way Microsoft chose to use the control on those particular apps. If it's any consolation, I imagine it will be more standard affair to do it that way in the future.
Curse you Kenray. If you'd been using pirated copies of photoshop for years (since version 3 I think), then finally decided to buy it, because, frankly, it's worth it, would you read the manual? Ok, so I'm a horrible monster and I pray for death
Jafo - "pity" would be the correct English spelling of the word. However, I pitty the foo that questions the will of Mr. T, please consider the following evidence: http://www.projectginger.com/images/exhibit-a.jpg That gives me a great idea for a skin...
I am making a tidy living off of it, well at least Photoshop is a small part of it. I'd say I know photoshop pretty well now (I've been using it for about 7 years), and the anti-aliasing thing was a silly oversight on my part. The trouble I have with manuals is that they're so often useless, anyone that tried to learn Flash by reading the supplied manual will know this, still, can't hurt to take a look, I'm sure I could've saved myself hours in the past reading the Photoshop manual, but what's d
You can also rename the file to .zip and simply extract the contents. It would be a lot of fun manually changing them though, I'd probably go with IconPackager.
In the words of Mr. T, "I pitty the foo"
Many helpful comments. Thank you people. You see kenray, who ever RTFM with photoshop?
Ok, I posted a comment on this skin, but I found the situation ironic enough for Alanis Morisette to write a song about, so I thought I'd make a post here. Sofie, as you may know has released a DesktopX XP theme. It seems that some of the icons she used were the work of Mr. mcs2k1, one of the more popular XP authors, who posted in the comments something to the effect of he is not best pleased. You with me yet? No offense to you mcs2k1, but where exactly did you get the icons in the first place?
And hooray for the wonderful intelligent people that put together the "internet advertising model" and made it impossible to earn a living by spending 20 hours a day running a website any more.
I like the concept of being bomarded with advertisments though. I don't get enough emails, phone calls, letters, instant messages and other software telling me all the wonderful things that I simply must buy. Hooray for adware.
Cat, I personally don't like Luna, it's too chunky, but you have done some great ports of it. Your words are wise and true though, I'm sure lots of people did like Luna, as was reflected in the downloads, but I think it's time to see some fresh stuff. There's a lot of talented people out there that have a lot to offer the community, and I think Luna has been perfected enough for now, time for something fresher.
that would be poledit.exe, probably not located on your machine, but it's on the win98 cd somewhere.
As it happens, I've been using Photoshop for quite some time now, and as of version 6 I actually own a genuine copy for once in my filthy thieving life. RTFM though? Reading manuals is against my religion or something.
Is there any way to check the rating that a piece has received, I've searched high and low, but am probably just blind.
See above message. Sounds like the machine running SQL Server has fallen over, but then ODBC errors are frequently wildly inaccurate.
That looks like a radical change from explorer. I should be able to actually search through a complicated 3 dimensional world to find my files, just like in the movies. Better be careful in there though, I heard if you die in cyberspace you die in real life too. Erm...sorry.
