lobby sploits? in Demigod Demigod Forums

Hey all, am wondering if there is any way the host can prevent the game settings from displaying correctly in the lobby? Just finished a 'game' against 3 nubs who had it set to dominate on a 3k limit and just literally bought locks non stop from level 1. Their builds were piles of shite (as were their playstyles) but they won because of cheap, stupid and dirty settings. This would be fair enough if the game options had displayed correctly, but it all said normal except ai hitp

Yeh that was lame. What bugs me here is that someone other than the host got the points for winning and he was the one showing a ping anywhere between 200 and 1200. Was quite surprised to come back with my coffee to the main menu screen. Should play again though Gr1llY, was a good game :)

Because the CPU deals with sound unless you have a discrete sound card - onboard sound goes through the CPU.

Crits in Demigod Demigod Forums

Are there any known bugs with crit calculation? I can't find reference to any, and I didn't think there were but I just did a crit for 120 damage on an enemy TB, then a regular hit for 140... This was with Slayer's Wraps, no other crit items.

is there an item that boosts minion damage for an amount of time at all? probably used a pounce a couple of times, thats 1600 damage potentially at level 7, and it can be pretty difficult to distinguish between where youre taking each hit from if theres a lot going on... but again, hacks would cause desyncs. that said, im curious to know what he did to make yetis viable :P

I get pings of about 220 to the west coast, and I'm in the EU... Though I will accept that there are a lot of ping nazis over here. There was a recent post from Kryo restating that the game simulates a ping of 350, I would link to it if I could find it....

This is another great example of people not reading forums... You're aware frogboy didn't make the game right? And there is a difference between publisher and developer.... That aside, QoT has enough other skills to make her more than viable later in the game, just needs playing properly.
