Hi all, I've been having some trouble with the tactical battles, namely, unit positions. Is there a way to position how your units will appear on the tactical map? I've tried clicking and dragging the units around on the strategic map but they won't move. Do I have to separate the units then join them back together in a specific order to get the arranged right? The problem I'm having is that the units with the highest initiative keep spawning in the cen

Thanks for the reply, that's helpful. I guess I'll stop trying to research spells in the campaign, lol. They should probably add a Help Tip to the campaign that says spell research is not available. Like I said, the game seems like it might be very cool, but I won't know until I get past this initial frustration and confusion and have somewhat of an understanding of what the hell I'm doing. Thanks for the help. Koz
Hey all, been playing the ...ahem... "tutorial"... and I am confused on how to do some basic things. How do you research spells and what do you need to do it? I was able to open my spell book and when I highlight spells I see a "learn" button but when I click it, all that seems to happen is that it goes to the top of the spell book and says "learning". Yet nothing seems to actually be happening as the days keep on rolling by. Do I need a special building or Tech to do
I'm active again after a few months of being MIA. Been having fun too, I wish this game was still getting support and I wish all the LoL and HoN noobs realized how much better this game is. Koz
I recently came back to DG after a two month hiatus. I gotta say, I doubt my stay will be long. Since it seems that no further patches are forthcoming for this game I can't see sticking around since many of the things that need fixing won't ever happen now. After just a few days of being back I'm already sick of flag lock wars and sigil spamming (and yes, I'm guilty of both). But you know what I'm really sick of? Fucking Cataract. It's gotten so damn old an
I was wanting a mod just like this as well, especially with the ability to toggle. Is anyone willing/able to do this? Koz

I love that the UI mods don't require everyone in the game to have the mods in order to work, that makes them really nice, and I really like the team rollover mods that allow me to see my teammates mana and items. However, this got me thinking, could someone create a UI mod that allowed them to see the OTHER teams mana and items? I know that cheating is supposed to be impossible on P2P, but if someone was able to make a UI mod like this t

This isn't an issue of some noob bitching about not knowing how to watch out for tele ganks, it's clearly a graph
Yeah... Maybe we should have a big flashing neon Text saying "TELEPORT IMCOMING WATCH OUT" /Sarcasm The tactical advantage was gained by teleporting with objects there, happens on high settings too. When i first played DemiGod i had problems seeing things like these, now i know to look out and predict them. Its like saying Demon Assassins Shadow swap is OP because it has really big range,
I concur. It's even worse at low settings, where you may not see it even when zoomed in.
This is a real problem for those of us who are forced to play on low settings. The graphical difference for the teleport swirl on high and low settings is massive. It's almost impossible to miss on higher settings, but on low settings, it just shows as a dark blue bruise on the ground. This isn't so bad if there
No update this week either!!!!
Is that a fact, or are you speculating? Koz
Rofl, right after I post I see the update for TB. That's big, he needs it. He needs more (like a buff to Deep Freeze and Fire and Ice), but that's a good start. I'd like to see Deep Freeze changed so that it doesn't "eat" the debuffs you place on the enemy. The damage it does should still be based on the number of debuffs, but the effects should remain after being hit by Deep Freeze. If that seems too good, the damage just needs to go up on Deep
I'm with most people around here, the high end favor items should probably be scrapped. It will just make other favor items less desirable, and there is already enough of that. As for the Graveyard upgrade, it's still a waste of money that only the AI will take. I think it should have an additional effect of reducing the amount of gold and XP that opponents get for killing members of your team as well. That might make it worth it a
That this discussion needs to be had, and so frequently, is not a good thing. Personally, I think much of this stems from people taking their stats way too seriously. Enjoy the game win or lose, and look to educate newer players. You might just find it more enjoyable that way.
How is buying equipment for yourself instead of citadel upgrades any different, it's still "hurting your teammates to help yourself". By the way I'm pretty sure if you are near the creeps when your ally nukes them you still get EXP and gold? It'd be nice if someone could confirm this because I usually wait for the wave in the other lane to reach an ally. Also I think the item needs a limit enforce
If my teammate takes Heaven's Wrath and uses it to farm two lanes, it really pisses me off. When you do this, you often deny your teammates the gold (and sometimes the xp as well) that they would normally be getting for holding their lane. You're basically hurting your teammates to help yourslef, and IMO it's a totaly selfish dick thing to do to your teammates. This is, after all, supposed to be a team game, not a "look at me, I am teh pwnz!" game. But I'm sure the peo
