I have friends on Live who want to play Demigod, but their PCs are complete pieces of junk, so a port would be great, they could do some balancing to compensate for the gamepad problem.

I understand how you feel, there should certainly be a different area for balance issues. Also, this one chap tried to make topics where people could post links to their ideas, but they faded away pretty fast, maybe it would have been better if they made stickies. Just a word of advice though for the future, if you do not use spelling and grammar, and come off as a prick, people will not take you seriously.
Same here, and my computer has been acting up so I doubt I will really be able to play Demigod But if one of the requirements for a contest was that they had to be abilities with number stats, well I would be out of it automatically. Sorry to hear about you computer. I don’t think the contest would require number stats and whatnot. Balancing should be up to them but the ideas behind the abilities that r
Quoting Fred_Bonaparte, reply 5 you sir, are forgetting the minority that suffers the most. Grunts gets killed by dozens and none of them ever had the chance to stand up and kick the ass of those so called demigods that keeps killing them. So, the next demigod should be a minotaur. Nah it wouldn't be cool the hero would be mistaken for a grunt
No, I saw this concept art
Hey, that contest idea would be a great publicity stunt, and it would probably further solidify their place in the hearts of the people who play Demigod. And a contest might generate more original ideas, but there would also be tons of junk like 'generic Egyptian God.' The only reason I write any of the ones I do is because I need/want to get some writing practice in, besides comenting on Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights *shudders at the thou
Good read, not your best, Jagan and King of Blades are my favorites of yours. Ability wise you know I should not comment on it, but Pathogens seems it would be rather overpowered early game, but maybe my idea of the effectiveness of health regeneration is wrong. pretty good Ah, and here I thought no one really liked the King of Blades/Jagan. You probably enjoyed them more because you favor original type
I think Leash The Insolent is too overpowered espcially early game in close tower maps. Envy of Divinity- could you define the conditions that activate this skill? Neat otherwise.
Well, for Envy of Divinity like the conditions are that the attacks are being focused on a Demigod, like if you click on a Demigod to attack, then he would recieve the bonus. And abo

Yes you should post them, I want to read them [e digicons]:D[/e] , sorry that I beat you to the chain demigod. Believe it or not, this guy took like a week to do, while every other one I did was completed in a day, I had the concept and the plot in my head, I just could not for the life of me think of how to write it out. Glad to hear that you like it.

So, this is my fourth attmept at a demigod, I have too much time, it is not my best, but let me know what you think. Again, sorry for the long story and the lack of numbers in the abillities, if you want to help with that feel free to. <span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: "Calibri","sans-ser

Well, Edge, two things: 1. I am horrible at math 2. Unfortunately, when I do play Demigod I do not really pay much attention to the numbers, so I do not really have a basis to go by. So, that is why they do not have numbers, or it could be that I am just lazy, you never know.

I rewrote the story, so tell me what you think. And thank you Mister Surreal for pointing that out, I had forgotten that my favorite 'bad' guys were not neccessaryily evil, look at Dr. Doom and Magneto. I rewrote the story with that in mind, and it is quite different from before, same story but just a few tweaks to it.
Well it’s interesting that you went with a character from your previous story, however the fallen angel just seems to be rambling on the whole time and doesn’t really know what’s going on. If I were to have read his dialog without the knowledge of him being an angel I’d have thought he was just some confused guy that wandered into a temple. Also he doesn’t really seem ancient; his speech is too common. Dialog I find can

This is my third attempt at a demigod, I think it is probably the worst out of them, and I wrote it differently than them, so that might have something to do with it. Please tell me what you think, and if you have any suggestions for abilities for him, feel free to post. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0i
I still enjoy reading your stories, do not have anything to say about abilities since I am not good at coming up with them myself, but yours seem pretty decent. Thanks, I enjoy reading yours as well. These Demigod ideas have kind of been free writing exercises… I have actually been writing sci-fi for many years, so working in the fantasy genre has been fun. Just got a DA site up supporting my series. Check it out i
