We outplayed the shit out of them, their Oak was 2 levels lower than us and the Erebus was feeding us a few kills. They had 1 tower rook who pulled the weight of his teams failures and won the game for them. Thats the problem with tower rooks, they're way too powerful.
So he was a good player and was able to carry his team. Nothing new, it happens.
And dont blame it on my f
The wiki also lists some skills that don't get it the gold/exp. Can someone confirm/clarify the following?
Well this is my understanding:
Mines - do they ALWAYS give gold but not the exp tagging? Meaning if i kill enemies with mines, I'll always get gold, but if i also want exp, i have to be nearby
You'll always get gold as long as you cause 25% damage, but you need to be nearby for the xp.
Potions and consumables in general begin to lose their "in combat" use when all but 2 of the DG in the game have the ability to interrupt them by mid-game. Consumables are always great outside of combat, but relying on them during combat past early-game will only get you killed if you're against more experienced players who know how to interrupt.
Also, the link isn't working.
In the wiki, it said that if the whole army deals more than 25% damage, the gold is distributed normally. Then it goes on to say that it's better to deal 50% damage to 4 monsters than to kill 2. How much damage do you need to do to tag the creep to get gold? 25%? 50%? 75%?
All they mean by that is that it's better to get 4 creeps to low health rather than outright kill 2 of them. It's poorly worded, but it's still 25%,

On a bigger map with multiple gold mines you control at the start, such as Zikurat, I'll hang around at the base for a few extra seconds so I can afford a combat potion in addition to my starting items.
what to do with the other updates?
Some you should ignore completely, others you might want to get late game or in certain situations. You should ignore the death penalty upgrade because it's pretty much useless unless you're dying a lot, which means you're probably losing and should spend your gold on items to make you stronger instead of an upgrade that will let the enemy kill you faster. I've never noticed the buildi
Taking a look at his games list I can see that most/all of his matches are against the bots. In other words, no human players from the start.
The first gold upgrade is very nice, as it pays for itself in about 5 minutes. Higher ranks, however, aren't very good as the bonus isn't as large. Getting this early is a great way to out-gear your opponent. The xp upgrade is great to outlevel your opponent early, especially if there is an xp flag that you can maintain control of. But I put the higher priority on the gold upgrade, as higher level items will let you defeat enemy DG even if they outlevel you. But if your enemy gets pri

Erebus(the "vampire guy") is hardly slow, his base speed is one of the highest in the game(6.3). Combine that with bat swarm and he's easily the most mobile DG in Demigod. Sure he doesn't have range, but he hardly needs it when he can get in your face with bat swarm, stun you with mass charm, pull off a bite, and have his minions swarming over you at the same time. Also, take a look at this please: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/349958

I would have thought that being to take down two or MORE DGs makes a good pair.
His point is that Erebus can quickly rush in to help Regulus in a 1v1 situation as opposed to other DG who aren't as mobile. The slow on bite and stun on mass charm means that it will be extremely hard for the other DG to escape
Well I just remembered that a lot of the posts on that thread talked about games similar to LoL and Demigod. So I just searched through the recent posts list until I found it. It wasn't that far down, so it only took a few seconds to find. Oh and you're welcome.
I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about but: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/356953/page/3/#replies It's reply #57 and the 2 games mentioned are Heroes of Newerth and Bloodline Champions.
While quitting the game because there are no replays is a bit dramatic(won't work as well as a hunger strike I'm afraid) I would still love to have replays. [e digicons]k1[/e]

I'm beyond op. I am.... Legend . But seriously, it's official. As of this post every Demigod in the game has been called overpowered. Sedna's damage output is low so she needs heal in order to outlast you. If you can match the amount of health she has you can beat her. Bramble Shield is good early-game because it absorbs a fair amount of damage but by mid-game a skill and some auotattack will take it down easily. Queen herself is so fragile that killing her is a
