try other driver versions. I have to use a really dated driver because all newer ones won't work at all for me. I use forceware 182.5, which is the last stable version for my Geforce 8800GTS.
Forceware v 182.50 Newer versions of Forceware fuck my system to pieces ... And I'm running XP 32 bit for gaming. That means DirectX 9.
and Tower of Power. Couldn't resist the change of music halfway through. Fits rather well, I must say.
added structural transfer. I never noticed the tiny bricks flying from tower to you before. And as a bonus we even get a close up view of the Rook's shoulder mounts in action.
well, when I play at normal speed then I have to use slower settings, too. Otherwise the fps goes down. Maybe my graphics card displays the stuff differently. Got a Geforce 8800GTS inside with quality settings on default.
added hammer slammmmm
nah, he's just a troll.
I put all videos in a HD-playlist. Should speed up loading time of this page. <embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="385" src="http://www.youtube.com/p/DB7F5F0B3CA4F452&hl=de&fs=1&hd=1" a
dota only has 1 map ?
well, maybe he tried to upload the RAW footage to youtube. After uploading 2 gigabytes of video you get kinda frustrated after reading a message telling you that your video is too large. :D
that bullshit gets karma ? No wonder chaosnaska racked up 22 points.
Mark Weston doesn't look like he cheats too often: http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/games/player/47048/ I also can't find any game where he played against you. Which game of yours are you referring to ? http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/games/player/47048/
I thought Oculus was scrapped ?
please, please, think more before you post. DotA and DG are two completely different animals dispite thier similarities. There is no reason to compare the two aside from both are an AOS, Team based multiplayer game, and fun to play.
Well, you'll be hard pressed to find ANY gaming magazine that doesn't compare DotA to DG. So I thought I'm not too far off when asking about the differences. Even though I stated the obvious fact that Demi
http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/161949/player/19830/ In that game he even lost against himself :D
This thread proves again that Demigod is balanced. Getting people to call one of the strongest DG's as bad is a good indicator. :) Oak can strengthen his spirits and they in return strengthen him directly and indirectly. Oak can heal his spirits and himself by killing others. Oak can damage, slow and make enemies more suspectible to his already high damage ... from a distance and quite frequently. Oak can become completely invulnerable fo
The patch notes are right in Impulse in the history area that specify explicitly what's new.
yep. and the history omits quite many of the mini updates that happend this week. Btw. I think they worked. I could finally join skirmish games again. :)
YOU on the other hand don't see the drawbacks because you don't play that way. You only notice the times where this tactic works. And like everyone here that shouts IMBA, OP or whatever, you probably didn'tbother to test your observations in a game to see for yourself how powerful this strategy is. I hope that unlike Elvisman2001 you don't behave like a spoiled brat and refuse multiplayer just because you can't cope against strateg
If you've never played DotA, why the fuck post this? You have nothing to say.
Why the fuck not ?
Ahye, graphic of Demigod kills it though ^^ Playing DotA for over 3 years now, bought Demigod today. Unfortunately, it doesnt works online kinda ... sth with ports or wtf...WHY THE HECK I
Looks like Demigod still has plenty of ... inspirations to draw from. :) And the engine used for DG is quite likely capable of running 3D maps, too. But right now I like the stylized, artificial duel maps. It makes the game feel more ... esoteric ... godlike, if you will. When they finally decide to make 3d levels then I'd like to see one take place on a globe.
I rather complain that they HAVE to fix it so often. But they made their mistakes and - unlike publishers like JoWood - will not repeat them. The technical ones, at least. What I'm saying is that creating test scenarios like packet loss while matching could produce the errors we encountered in advance. And right now those rapid minipatches are probably the best way to test their new network code. But any adminstrator will agree that you don't usually use a production e
As UB I use Spit AND Ooze. Sorry. And whatever you do to counter Spit: I also gob on towers, so that investment is never wasted. Otherwise nice tips.
I asked the same thing and was regarded a chump for not digging through the bloody developers journals. But in short: Start your Impulse client, right click on Demigod and click "History". There should be the list of changes, which is incomplete because Stardock didn't bother to update that list for every microupdate they did in the last few days. But apart from the stuff listed it was all connectivity fixes.
Even though I think the summon/sell/buy/summon mechanic wasn't intended, I don't think it gives you that much of an advantage. I play a pretty decent spirit-Oak and I occasionally do that myself. Usually when I have enough gold to upgrade my idols. When lucky they last a couple of engagements. Usually some AOE skills take care of the weaker minions, though. Now, when I have all level 4 idols I could go back to base, summon level 4 minions, sell all idols,
