Nö, wär aber nicht schlecht wenn die Mods ein offizielles deutsches Forum einrichten könnten. Und natürlich für die ganzen anderen sprachen.

In all honesty: DotA looks like Zelda 1 when compared to Demigod on video. I thought Warcraft III looked better, but yuck, you can see it's engine's age. <embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="385" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/
That was a skilled non-apology. The clever use of font size suggests honest regret while the labyrinthine use of conditionals and qualifiers may or may not state the opposite. I think that's the best you're gonna get, rarfy50. And in case you probably might not be a non-genuine cheater, I maybe might under undefined various circumstances perchance tend to happen to not disagree with Alpha492's implied possibility of you being a "faggit" shit. Or not. [e digicons]o_O[/e
Oh yea, you should win your game. Losing in record time doesn't qualify. :)
When multiplayer is not an option (for whatever reason) we still have the AI. I challenge you to a time attack against nightmare AI. Setup: 1 vs 1 Map: Crucible Nightmare AI Free choice of Demigods All favor items allowed Gamemode: Fortress Standard settings (no higher starting level, warscore, etc.) Best time counts. Note: Nightmare AI is cheating. Gets more e
We all appreciate the effort you put into fixing the existing issues of Demigod. Your near daily updates however don't simply highlight the effort you guys put into it - rather they demonstrate that your testing methods are not up to the task. Why else would you leave the testing to us ? I admit, it's efficient, but if you overdo it you'll leave an impression you don't want to be associated with (#1 Stardock - Category:Bugfixes per day). Just a thought for the future:
aw. you are just pissed that i spoiled your strategy, you bloody cheater. ;)
landsleute :)
What Demigod has - in contrast to every other title made by GPG - is their unique cast. The Demigods give their game identity. Way more than those faceless heroes of the Siege games and the hordes of Supreme Commander. Well, with Supreme Commander it could have been the experimental units, but the only ones that stuck to my mind are the flying saucer, that spider robot and the ultra large mega robot. The regular units were as unnoticable as the reinforcements we squash in Demigod ...
Pendant of Grace (950 favor): 10% dodge, 15% minion dodge Assassin's Footguard (1750g): 10% dodge Desperate Boots (5000g): 20% dodge when life under 30% Cloak of Elfinkind (12000g): 15% dodge let's assume rarfy50 sucks and can only afford the Assassin's Footguard and the General Favor Item Pendant of Grace. Thats 20% dodge. Now you gang up on him, probably with minions or some reinforcements. Le
I think they did Dungeon Siege 1+2, which were Diablo inspired but rather boring. The first one especially, since you could leave the fighting to the AI completely without any noticable drawbacks. Nice graphics, though, but slow engine. Space Siege was a real yawn attack. Dungeon Siege with less challenge. Oh, Supreme Commander seemed ok. Awesome zoom. Good graphics. But after a while I stayed in max zoom out and only saw dots moving around. But at least you had the overview.<
btw: Towers do not count as minions and thus don't get bonuses from items.
towers are powerful enough right now. Lowering their hit points would make them all weaker whenever you use them, while increasing their lifetime would only bring superficial advantages for a few hinterland towers and only at higher levels.
I suspect that the errormessage meant: " You want to play Unclean Beast on the Forces of Light team. I know I picked UB for you because you had him in Skirmish, but I'm trying to connect you to others anyway and THEN I'll produce an error message and abort matching."
... oookay ... I just want to add that I haven't been able to get into any skirmish or pantheon games recently (last 5 attempts or so. Not much, but you lose patience after too many tries). Some stuff from the log: [code="c#"] <p style="text-al
And that's the point where the statistics you gathered can come in. Let's assume the time window which a player is willing to endure before giving up trying to connect is 5 minutes. From the current state of population and the statistical data you have, you are able to predict with a certain chance how the pool will change within the, say, next 30 minutes. There will be high and low potential pool sizes. Then use the current pool to slot the players in a game mod
Best tactic against tower rook is to kill Rook himself. I occasionally play a decent trook as well and to keep fueled for towers, transfer and one attack skill, we tend to stack up on helmets. We need a good mana supply to keep rebuilding towers. That means we have less armor and health than an assassin rook would have. If you spec for high health, damage and armor, then you should be able to kill rook even inside his farm. I'm not saying it's easy, but even trooks hav
[e digicons]:(O[/e] ... was about the first thing i thought when I read a forum post with lots of DG inside. I have no idea why. [e digicons]:-"[/e]
the wait still is agonizing. And I'm right when I'm saying that my proposal will fill your pool faster and more frequently, no ?
Best of Chaosnaska: I'm too stupid to embed a video I'm also too stupid to embed a picture I HATE CHINKS AND COMMIES I'M A PRO! Acknowledge me!! I can even post videos now because I'm a pro!!! * I HATE YOU WHO NERFED EREBUS !!! (click on 'view edit' to see his rant) <a href="/352233
got his IP ? I want to know if that is the dick that's vandalizing our demigod wiki from time to time (usually tits and penis themed edits).
Don't let this forum's pirate-haters get to you. They usually sue children for laughing too loud, vote republican and think Jack Bauer should ask Piratebay for their server-logs.
you sure your increase of lane control and kills doesn't just come from the use of Ooze ? :) I favor an Ooze/Spit strategy, which has less stats but good performance against buildings and something nice for fleeing DGs. And your Basic assumption, that Spit doesn't help against higher level DGs is plain wrong. 1500 is 1500 damage, no matter how high the level. Some DGs become better at countering spit but that costs them. And fleeing DGs seldomly have enough mana left to counte
Despite everything it still takes a while to get into a match. Technical difficulties aside, it simply is a problem with the lower userbase when compared to, say, Warcraft III. So, when few users are online, it will take longer to get into a game, simply because the few users online ARE already in a game. With more users online, there will not be a problem like that ... the more people are playing, the more games will end soon, freeing players for the next matchup.
