Rook with his Archer shoulder upgrades (which are awesome against buildings, btw.) is in deep shit if you can afford to buy the Groffling Warplate. The arrows come at a fairly high rate and seem to trigger the activate-on-being-hit shield quite nicely. A near permanent 300 damage buffer is a quite noticable disadvantage for Rook, which I recently noticed to my dismay.

I played a support rook suited for base pushing and early tower killing. And it went well. I mostly ignored what was happening on the map, although I got a bit nervouse at the speed with which my only human opponent preyed on my AI allies, but I knocked down most of his fortresses in short order before I hit level 10. Getting to the last one proved a bit harder. Ok, strictly speaking it wasn't a duel since it was a 4v4 fortress match. But only two humans participated and we all know t
isn't there a consumable that ends debuffs ?
Oh yeah, nearly forgot: You can actually RATE builds on wikia. And this one gets 5 points. :)
Added Demolition Man Rook Guide , because it's the most effective one. However, it employs a rather non-standard playstyle for rook (not counting the tower farms), so i'll be hunting for at least one good assassing guide for rook.
Tested your way of the Rook. Goes way better than I anticipated. It's amazing how soon I'm suddenly standing in front of a citadel that doesn't belong to me. :) Anyway, I just finished transcribin your guide to the wiki. Take a look here: http://demigod.wikia.com/wiki/Demolition_Man_Rook_(Guide) I corrected some spellings and changed some phrases, but otherwise it's still the original. <
yep, plenty of room for optimization.
Also might want to mention that not only to TP scrolls have a faster cooldown, they also have a /seperate/ cooldown, meaning you can teleport home or to assist an ally, and instantly teleport back to your tower farm.
Unless they changed it in the new version that statement is wrong. When you use the amulet you get a 45 second cooldown and your scroll gets a 30 second cooldown at the same time.
with that kind of items you might win just with putting all points in Enhanced Attributes. :P Anyway, the best tips in this guide is the promotion of plague to counter heart of life. hadn't thought of that before.
boy, i expected a slightly higher response. anyway, three guides are up: Duelist_Sedna Spirit General Oak Hybrid Torch Bearer
Many forums have some special threads for special posts, mostly to bundle posts that have something in common but frequently get posted where no one wants to read them. They get called "General Discussions (unmoderated)", "Troll Cage", Kindergarten", etc. To improve communication we should create a subforum called "Balance Issues" :D
healing wind's "undocumented" feature shows up even in the tootips. :)
leftover from old beta, i guess. stands like that in the lua files. and normal healing progresses correctly.
Healing Wind 2 enhances the healing capabilites of minion priests by small amount. FYI: DGs can be healed every 8 seconds and the cooldown for minion healing spell is 5 seconds. DGs are healed by % of max life while normal units get healed by a static amount. Amount healed: 10%/12%/13%/15% Sedna modifier: 15%/17%/ 30% /22% Yep, the subtle bold font has it right. The level 3 priest heals you by 30% ... way more than the level 4 fatty. G
The Demigod Wiki just opened it's guide page. More infos here: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/351532 The guides are linked from the demigods' description pages, but a list of all guides can be found here: http://demigod.wikia.com/wiki/Guides
It's here: http://demigod.wikia.com/wiki/Guides Since I just started the section it's a bit empty right now (only containing two and a half guides), but I'm sure it will be populated soon. Moreover, all guides can (and should) be linked to the respective Demigod. See the page of General Oak to get a feel for how neat guides can be incorporated in the wiki. Hope to s

maybe tell fraps to save movies not on the same drive as your swap file. And with a 1600x1200 resolution (or something) I recommend you set fraps to half size videos. I doubt any harddrive can manage full size writing with that resolution.
I AM TOP RANKED PLAYER ! OBEY MY EVERY WORD! DON'T QUESTION MY AUTHORITY AND GO RIGHT !!! NO, LEFT ! NO RI-- FUCK, I FUCKING DIED BECAUSE OF YOU FUCKING FUCK OF A FUCKING FUCKER !!!!!! .... I guess I side with the OP. :)
That works so well because you probably took Divine Justice. This keeps your spirits alive by you klonking the critters to mush. Once you learn to control your minions independently from your DG, your area control doubles.

I admit, I'm interested in the explanation regarding this guide's inviability, too. :) And yeah, it's vs AI. Playing in tracking mode vs humans is a recipe for failure. :P
Torch Bearer can be best described as an undead elemental mage. Those who can't get Dungeons and Dragons out of their heads would probably call him a Lich.
