Posts ? No. The whole http://forums.demigodthegame.com/ is slow. just tried the new firefox beta with tracemonkey ... no difference. btw. I identified the page zoom of firefox as main factor in slowing down everything. When I reset the zoom to default it seems normal. Some elements here must be pretty hard to zoom ...
read about deep Freeze: http://www.demigoddb.com/
yeah and guess what: no mention of shatter. i can imagine what shatter could indicate, but i'm asking just to be sure.
I sometimes see Torchbearers victims suffer from "Shatter", often accompanied by a multiplicator. That is not documented, however. So when does shatter happen and what are it's effects ?
I also experience severe Forum slowdowns. I can pinpoint it to the browser, however. Every browser other than Firefox renders the forum as fast as you'd expect. Only Firebox browsers (on windows and Mac) have speed problems. I haven't checked the load times, but the site is slow even after it's been completely loaded. Scrolling is a pain. PS: Try using google chrome, opera or IE. If it's noticably faster then start firefox, open the forum site, go to the firefox menu b
Minions are pretty well done. I usually select all minons and have them attack a DG of choice. There's a hotkey for 'select all minions' and i mapped it to where I can comfortably reach it. In the case of Oak I often select just all spirits, cause flying units can ignore crowds and are even better for killing DGs. Sending units somewhere while holding the CTRL key makes them attack everything in their path, which is often more useful than just running on. <p

Just shows you how naturally hypocritical people are; they only see something fit when it suits them.
They are even using words someone else spoke before. There should be a law against word pirates!
I like your spirit assasin build, but the only thing I would change are those points in morale. Crank divine justice up a bit to increase your longevity, and take last stand. Spirits are replaceable...you are not. Besides that, SoF 3 and DJ 3 is simply a wonder to behold. Rember: DJ helps everyone nearby, keeping minions (and grunts) alive, as well as any other DGs in the area.
I left Divine Justice at one because I figured that'
It's kinda hard to compare shield with morale, you know. :) But 5 points in Morale would mean 250 hitpoints, 2,5 hp/s regeneration, 10% attack speed, 250 armor and 20 damage for each single one of your minions. And you can have 16 minions in total ... even more if you do the idol-sell trick. And if we just look at the spirits then we have about 200 extra damage per second with an extremely high range. :)

I agree with the OP. Builds don't work in demigod like they work in, say, World of Warcraft or Diablo 2. You have to be able to adapt to your opponents or the particular objectives of your current match. Having said that, I think it makes sense to start with a certain baseline which allows you do swing one way or another without sacrificing strength. I tried to accomodate these realities in my Oak guide , where I take pains to avoid providing a "bu
I'm not sure if Last Stand gives Oak the benefits of Purity. It it doesn't, then he can be stunned, frozen, slowed, whatever.
Oak is a peculiar mix of paladin and necromancer, although this assessment is debatable. He can raise the spirits of the deceased (enemy and ally alike) to fight for him, heal himself and his allies by killing enemies, shield himself or alli

And trebuchets are a superb counter against the dreaded Heart of Life.
Call him "The Doctor". Nah, better don't. Besides, high-tech in this game would not fit. You might as well bring in the Galactic Colossus from Supreme Commander in here, who would step on Rook without noticing. Not fun.

nah, dark won because all noobs go for the cool coverguy but don't know how to play the walking castle. Thus dark got many fledgling demigods to munch on. :)
Pounce 400 damage for rank I and only 200 additional for each point. This is your only real damage ability so its not really advisable to drag your feet on investing points here. The remaining abilities do not have diminishing returns. My suggestions and when to spend the abilities are merely that and based on observing the greatest return of investment on points spent. If you want to focus on a particular aspect

I honestly don't know how he ever managed to kill your demigod, though UB is much better at killing reinforcements than Sedna is. You are talking Heal-3 which doesn't come until later in the game. What about levels bef
It's the stylesheets, not the Javascript. I blocked out the scripts which didn't make it much faster, but blocking the stylesheets made it fast ... and butt ugly.
Sedna should be weak against generals with damage priority minions, since she has no AoE to speak of. And her higher healing spells cost quite a lot of mana. So my bet would be on Erebus or Oak.
