Thats not my experience at all. Against weaker enemies, you can kill them because they are stupid or ignorant about the abilities and limitations of the DGs involved in any particular battle. Against stronger enemies, who are not ignorant, they do not wander out to duel people they know they can't beat, don't let themselves fight 2v1, and in general don't do anything stupid that would get themselves killed or force themselves off the field. If that means they can't push you off a parti
Well duh, of course your games are different from his. You only pub stomp.
You're an idiot. Go back to your pantheon games please, the big boys are talking now.
Every build has limitations, it was readily admitted that if you get caught alone in melee range with a UB, you'll probably die. There's nothing to say other than you should try to avoid letting that happen.
I'm not saying it doesn't, and was claiming its a natural problem with any reg build, just this one has less tricks up its sleeve.
I don't understand this objection. There's no build in the game that has guaranteed or even likely kills early on,
Also, to furthur support my arguement, if you look at reviews of your game, what do you see? High ratings, saying the game is fun and original (this view wont change without mod support). What is usualy their complaint? Your game is full of bugs. So why is the most publicly viewed discredit to this game still not its top priority?
Look, heres my view, and everyone who I know personally's view of things. 1) If I click somewhere, my demigod shouldn't be so stupid as to run up and down along a circle wall while my kill gets away. Fix the bugs that should have been fixed in the beta and never been released. "Budget" or not, theres no excuse for pathfinding glitches like this at this point. 2) Stats are stupid </span
The low survivability of this build is made up by the fact that most demigods will never get into autoattack range on you. (Except erebus.) In a team fight, I kite and exploit range to force them on one of the melee heroes. Angelic fury will AoE chasing melee heroes. Any attempts at my demi are hindered by the fact they have to catch me with another demi beating on them the entire time.
This also means you can't share damage with your team if needed, but I don't think a
If I was blizzard I would sue for getting people away from my products. You don't understand business law if you're under the assumption that this is about "an idea". The fact is, they pretty much cloned this game. At least, from what I see. Just looking at the minimap I could tell it was a direct clone. Who'd benefit? Blizzard obviously, with lots and lots of money. Not having lan won't kill SC2, it's a good business choice they made imo. You couldn't pry SC2 from other
She's trolling trolls. Epic fail.
they didn't make DOTA, and so what if S2 were inspired by dota?
Blizzard owns ALL content associated with wc3, including maps made with their map editor. The game looks like an exact clone of dota, thats why they're at risk. They added no originality, just seems like a direct clone to me. Demigod did not go this route, demigod is a unique game completely with only slight similarities.
Precisely! And that's what I miss.
I love getting broken games I can't get patches for too. [e digicons][/e] I don't think theres anything wrong with game companys having proper quality assurance. It's demanded by the customers these days because people only want to pay for somthing they feel is a finished product. I don't see you going out to buy big rigs</
Not sure why blizzard hasn't filed a lawsuit yet.
I've never done a reg build without mines simply because, it's been my expereince that against a good player, they will simply keep their distance from you and you will never get a kill with this build. Yes you can be annoyin with tower harass, but all reg builds can do that. Is it your expereince that this build makes up for the lack of AoE Burst that mines gives in team brawls? I would think it would not. Also, theres very little reason a regulus should be getting DPS kills within l
Me and Char are always up for a game. We ussualy do 3's and pick up a random third, so more than willing to do a 3v3 if somone has an extra on there team.

Be back in about 4-7 hours. Have fun SoFFacet ;) Edit: Find two partners. We don't ussualy play less than 3v3.. it doesn't feel teamish at that point. Our third is almost always random
Oh. My. God. Can we PLEASE close this topic with a link to the "Flag Locks" topic RIGHT below this post?
Somthing as fundamental as pathfinding? That goes beyond gameplay bugs, but can we just agree on one thing for once ? Im not going to argue this.Well, I think he just means that at least with pathing they intended for it to work correctly, but with matchmaking it's like they somehow didn't even realize it needed to exist. We can definitely agree that both issues shouldn't made it out of beta though. It's just really
And what dictates experience, hm? For me, you gain experience and get better at something through hard work, and in the specific case of this game through close and tough matches. None of those things are exclusive to premades.
Expereince that is relevant to the objective of the game: Destroying the Citadel. How is that acheived? Not soro, through teamwork my friend. Who has more expereince working with teams, PUG's or Premades? That question in itself has the answer.</
Yes, you said that you should scout the entire map and that if you let someone cap it's your own fault. I then disagreed that six seconds of gameplay should seal the conclusion to a 30 minute match regardless, and we haven't been on topic since. If you posted some arguments you think I missed then feel free to take 30 seconds to copy/paste them and I'll address them directly. Otherwise feel free to have the last word, as this thread's gotten cyclic and boring.
Seriously though - what does being good or not have to do with LIKING the fact that end game Cataract is all about flag locks?
The post doesn't imply that im hot shit, just that I believe I have more expereince in what this game is all about, a true TEAM environment.
Insulting logic isn't the hallmark of a good debate, proving why it's bad is. Your only angle of attack has been to call me a noob, which you could only have derived from my record, which must have only seemed bad in contrast to your own. How's that for logic?
Not really. Insulting logic can be very eye opening to people who are spoon fed niceness by community. I find slapping people in the face much more effective. I've had my fair share in
Damn you edit posts more than anyone ive ever met. You're realllllllllly trying hard to save face aren't you. They need edit stamps.
Somthing as fundamental as pathfinding? That goes beyond gameplay bugs, but can we just agree on one thing for once ;p? Im not going to argue this.
