My turn; Silence isn't a stun but it's an interrupt.
That's fine, I didn't actually think about silence as being in the same category as stuns and interrupts, although it could be used as one, it's technically not ONLY an interrupt (I could be wrong about that, I havn't mastered Sedna by any means).... Damn, don't correct anyone on these forums, you might hurt their pride [e digicons]:X[/e]
WickedBear
Ok, so you choose to dodge and take pot shots's at who ive played instead of manning up? That's fine. Clearly I'm the coward here for wanting to just get at least ONE game in after I got off an 11 hour shift. What idiots like you don't realize is, 90% of people with good stats leave my games after they look me up. Is that my fault? I'd rather play the game against idiots, than not at all. Speaking of which, when we playing?
A stun that I can use as a stun and not as an interrupt? You're nitpicking for no reason.
I'm nitpicking because you said you wanted it to do somthing that it already does. The skill is amazing. Sorry if you got offended, it's not MY fault this game describes "stun" as anything that interrupts.
Have you ever gone through your games list and looked at the people you've been beating? You and char have *surprise surprise* 95%+ win rates, play every game together, and at first glance haven't played a single team with even a 50% win rate in what, weeks? Pathetic.
Doesn't really mean anything. I don't decide who joins my games, they do. Go ahead and ask pacov how long I was waiting for a single opponent yesterday. Your twisted warped reality is quite ast
Hah, out come the ad hominem attacks. Didn't we go over the fact that you're a pub stomper who has no room to talk about skill in the other thread?
Right, because every player in this game doesn't play against PUG's atm. All we covered in the other thread is ill conceived notions that people who play with random people have. I'm not going to drag THAT arguement into another thread. How about you and a friend come play me and char, and then you can deserve the righ
then why are you making such an effort to oppose a nerf to them? Clearly it wouldn't affect you anyway, so ironically the fact that you're making statements belies the point you're trying to make.
Why would we nerf an item that isn't imbalanced? That's the problem. We're tired of people crying wolf on things that work fine, and work as intended. If you don't like how YOUR style of gameplay doesn't pan out on cataract, play a different map, or change how YOU play.<
Nice strawman there, but it does highlight the whole point of this thread. The late game on Catract isn't about fighting, it's about flag locking and you either love it or hate it. Considering many DGs get some of their most fun abilities at 15 I would rather have the game focus more on using those abilities than the flag locks. The entire issue is a matter of opinion, your smarmy little comments are pointless
Oh im sorry, I mu
That is the simple solution. I'm still confused how basic arranged team functionality was simply not even considered for Demigod. It's at the core a team game yet there were literally no features designed towards facilitating an actual TEAM of players.
I'm still confused on why pathfinding hasn't been fixed. I'm still confused on why hundreds of bugs in the beta that were reported made it into a finished product. In that perspective, it's not really suprising.
So what you're saying is that if a team drops the ball for six seconds they should lose a half an hour long game. If this were football it'd be like making the final touchdown of the game give quadruple points.
Not really, because you havn't had the option to cap lock strategic positions for the first half hour of the game, therefore a point structure wouldn't really make sense. However, troop effectiveness SHOULD increase as time progresses, it's only logical.</p
Alright, lets talk about close games only. High level close games only. The enemy team knows you want their portals. They know that losing their portals will lead to a loss. They are going to block the way to their portals as often as possible. Any time they can't do that they will be obsessively watching the minimap and flag tickers for any sign that someone might be going for their portal. If you go for one alone, they will know what you are trying probably 5-10 seconds
(who by the way took it so poorly that he resorted to accusing us of actually cheating by making oak's shield longer than was possible...).
Didn't that make the win THAT much better? I love winning games like that. [e digicons]|-)[/e]
If Sedna had a stun I'd be so happy.
Pounce is infact.. a stun.. do you want.. a longer stun?
LOL you think you're so leet that you can kill anyone that backdoors your portals? Well, you need to be staring at the map or the minimap in order to see the backdooring demigod and be ready to teleport right away.
Which you should be doing. The map is so small, there is no reason not to have complete visibility if the game is that even. You're supposed to prep for giants, not get them and insta win.
Yeah... I dunno. I've always had low APM in RTS games, but I ussualy fair pretty well anyway. It used to drive one of my friends crazy when he had 280 APM, and I had like 90, and would beat him everygame. To be fair though, I normally do have better awareness of what our third is doing depending on the level of trust.
So....... can anyone declare somthing a solution now? Let me try! 3) randomers get some friends.
The thing I thought was weird is that until 5 minutes into the game, you hadn't checked up on your ally in the other lane, nor had you gone back to base for lewt. Also, odd that you got ooze first in a hybrid build, imo
I had been watching the minimap mostly, and our partner had pretty good flag control, but I did notice that myself when I watched the video. Wonder why. As far as ooze first, our early on brawls allow me to maximize my auto
They have more time to move. So what? They still have to move. An extra quarter of a second of arming time (to pick a number at random) doesn't mean they only have to move at their leisure.
Actually... it does.
IMO, if it was any slower the skill would lose alot of its value [e digicons][/e]
We should be ashamed of ourselves. But we're not.
PREMADER! [e digicons]:X[/e]
Should the results of 1v1 duels reflect our understanding of the game's balance?
IMO, 1v1 shouldn't even be in the game. I certainly wouldn't balance around it as theres no way you can balance individual skills against a team oriented game. I liked perspective 3 btw, did you get that feeling when you played with us? [e digicons]\o/[/e]
no movement of camera ( on your part). More half the time i have trouble targetting... Or mabey thats cause of the huge chat box[e digicons]:S[/e] EDIT: Why didnt you make a channel like "Demigod Community Vids"...
Yeah I play at 1920x1080 so I don't need to do too much moving o_o; Do you know how to make a channel everyone can committ to? I tried looking into this and had no results, thus I just used my own personal one from planetside.
It just gets on my nerves when I see him casting the mines, but i'm *ALMOST* done with my fireball or whatever...but finishing, rather than aborting it, up ends up with me taking a nice dose a pain and slowage...
But see, because he can do that you now have to react fast :) adds FUN in a way no? ;(
Change name to hybrid grenade-mine thingys. Problem solved. ::rubs hands together proudly:: Seriously I was always tripped up on mines screaming imba imba imba when I first started, but honestly with support, meh..
How was it weird? I'm curious now [e digicons]|-)[/e]
Theres nothing wrong with cap locks, they're a strategic addition that prevents people from flag tossing back and forth. The game is not over if you lose a flag. The game is over when you're team lets them KEEP that flag.
