WTF Omni? I played a 3v3 with you where we had to remake it, a player in there got jammed, too. I think we remade from courtesy, he was stuck for several minutes (amazingly enough, got a DG kill...), then said hitting spacebar fixed the problem. So... you've seen a guy get jammed before. You're a good player, where'd this idea come from?
Cind3rs
I played a game with Omni and you Kiamori, and it went fine. I take it this was just ONE game out of many? I've seen you around.
1) What setup? It's an idea. 2) Are you that guy that has the high sync error rate?
You're right Hedgie, lots of greedy players that will screw you. Right off, I get banded armor and uni cube. Start talking to players and see if someone will work with you. I'm still trying out ideas. One rook player liked to fall back repeatedly, so I ended up using Wings of the Seraphim, which let us dominate early to mid game. Keeping the rook healed for 2k with a uni cube on standby, plus healing myself. Then, it's about staying near the tower and pus
Maybe a talented regulus player can push a lane on his own, but I that is not me. I realize that reg is for support, and tried a few ideas out. I'm having some real luck going maximum range and maximum damage. Keeping items to a minimal. Getting angelic fury, using BotS to keep myself in mana. Brutality gauntlets, wyrmskin, and slayer wraps. Mage Slayer (towards the end, obviously) and a life steal item to regen out in the weeds. I really don't have a d
Is it the toolbar at the bottom?
Got the beta key, but I can't figure out where I find the program. Is it worth the time or effort?
I never noticed this until tonight, but if you're form dancing with TB, if you go ice to fire, he has to stop and complete the transformation. But if you are going fire to ice, and you keep clicking on move or attack, he'll just drop to the ground and keep running, maybe losing half a step if that.
I'll hit you up, add me as a friend in game. Try playing with Hedgie also, he's cool for a fun game
Makeshift-D is very mellow, team player. I hear Yeodan is a dick! [e digicons][/e]
I have seen it chain, but zooming in you see a -80 every second or so. So it does appear to be graphical, I don't see it spike higher or lower on damage.
The only problem Kitty has are crappy teammates who don't do what he wants. This causes him to die on the other side of the map where he is 1v1 someone without any support because those stupid teammates of his didn't anticipate his tactics. After this happens 5 or 6 times, he is forced to feed the opponent while telling all of his stupid teammates this is what he is doing because they are so bad, by running 1v3 into
I think so too. If you watch a DG getting hit by a bunch of towers "chaining", he'll get like 4 -80s in between each lightning bolt shot (5 towers present). So I think it's actually invisibly hitting him/her. I somehow assumed the chain from a big tower would help out, but it probably doesn't. In fact, I've been using them wrong for quite some time, putting a big chain out, thinking it did more that way. I'm seeing more results from a cluster.&nb
My g/f plays (Squirrel or something like that). She's just below average, still doesn't understand the math aspect of it. Only plays Sedna. Haha, I should get her to dress up like the QoT for Halloween. Epic!
Premades should just say "Premades!", so they fight another premade team. I've seen sooo many games with "3v3, anyone!", and then watch as the host has his buddy, allows only another high rate win guy on his team, then kicks anyone with a high win rate on the other team. The sad part? I've watched a lot of "good" players do it. Are we that cowardly? It's a GAME! Who cares about your numbers? If you're a fat kid drinking Mt.Dew, a st
Are we sure on the non-targeting? I've double clicked one, which selects all, picked a DG in the middle of a crowd and it will keep firing on him until he leaves the range. Granted, I don't watch that it happens everytime, but when I DO watch, it always works. Ok, so the chain effect is nothing? Just illusion? So it's best to have them in a cluster to all fire on the enemy? Thanks
Rook towers. Is it best to chain them from a large tower, or to put them in a loose cluster, so they can individually target? As far as I've seen, they chain their shots, but I see a lot of little hits. Can anyone explain the system? Also, is there a key that will select them, other than clicking on them?
Is there a group usually on? I'd kill for a group of peeps to play with. I've been suckered by several of the "Join us! We're here!", then nobody is actually playing
Hey Makeshift-D! Great game out there. It really pwns using blood soaked wand with a little teamwork. As for priests, I generally don't want to get them unless I'm not winning the duels. They're a good boost, you fight in the middle of them and get healed and they do more damage, help push over the edge. Or if enemy is distracted, get them to wear down towers. Other than that, just XP feeder, imho. Or buy at the very end to catapults.
-1. He hosts a game, whined/cried/complained until he got less "noobs" on his team than our team (random selection of peeps). THen bitches at the guys on his team to make them play a DG he thinks appropriate. Then dies early and quits within 2 mins. Remaining players on his team say he cursed them out roundly. Games are fun. Or allegedly, they are.
Umm... Cind3rs. I'm part of TAI. I usually am logged onto XFire when I'm online. Just so you know... And I'm online a lot.
Ok, I'll give it another try, but the first month I logged onto xfire was Atlantica and other games, nobody for DG. Was one guy on DG sometimes, but he never wanted to play anything but pantheon.
Decided to join a team, but I'm despairing that DG is on the way down and it's not worth it. The player base is low and games are hard to come by. Kills me! This game is great, the graphics, sound, balance.. it's all well done. Other games are ugly, confusing, and look like Nintendo, maybe Super Nintendo graphics. Is it worth it? I joined "This armor itches", which claimed a big, casual DG gamer base, but there are 0 people
The 8 players could be 7 light 1 dark, 6 light 2 dark, 5 light 3 dark etc. If there is only 1 player on one of the sides, the matchmaking will either set up a 1 + ai vs 1+ai or multiple players versus 1 + ai. When I queue up for Pantheon I usually have http://www.demigodthegame.com/opengames.asp up also to see who is in queue. As a result I rarely have this issue. If it looks like I'll end up in a 3vs 1 + 2 ais, I leave queue an
This is probably obvious to anyone who has played DG. The matchup service will say "8 players waiting", then promptly load up with 1 player and all AI on one team and all human on other team. I, like everyone else I've seen, promptly drops. People tell me: "custom game!". I know that is AN answer, but I generally just jump on, want a random game or two and then that's it. Sitting in a custom game forever just to get it going isn't appealing most
Dang! Very nice write up, logical. Never thought of it that way. I have to admit, I was reading it, thinking in the back of my mind: "I wonder if this guy is a business student or an accountant somewhere"
