Either way the ability has just made your titan that much more dangerous to the enemy regardless of what they choose to target. So its not useless to spend points in the ability at all

I'm in the middle of an AI game and me and an ally bot control about 80% of all territory. We had 3x the ships as the last remaining player, two high level titans. We can't win. I've lost the enormous bulk of two max
