Not meaning to still anyone's thunder I like this post that is why I came out with species awhile back. As far as picts I like the Aliens. Though a cyborg version of the Vesari from Sins of a solar empire would be cool. Maybe a shape shifter or a parasite controlled faction. I would give them a high morale like the Krynn. With a super breeder, researcher or economists. Now about the technology I would give them an even number of Galactic achievements, trade goods and super

I watch the show. I think it is to unrealistic in the fact the human race should be concerned about zombies and not each other when there are supplies everywhere. If this ever happen remember protection from zombies is more important than supplies in the beginning. You can wurvive without water for 7 days and food for a minimum of two weeks. You can't survive if you are bitten because you were more concerned about supplies than a fortress.
Quoting DARCA1213, reply 41the opposite? How can you or anyone think that? Because the devs have explicitly said so? Listen to the podcast I linked to earlier. At around 43:41 min., Paul Boyer (the Lead Designer of GalCiv 3) says: "We want to keep it simply. We don't want the game to become Gratuitous Space Battles. We don't want it to become a real-time tactical game. We're not making Rome:Total War. We're
Borderlands let you mod stiff why not them.
Well it has been announced for both February and March, so I assume March. I think the last time frame for the Alpha was 4 months maybe two. I think the beta will come out in August, but somehow come out in April. If given my choice I would rather spend four months on the Alpha than two. Since it will give more flexibility on being able to change the final game. For the most once the game comes out the expansions, Dlc, and mods will be somewhat limited on how far they can change from
Actually they recently announced they were working on it since 2011.
Only for those who celebrate it. It could happen like Thanksgiving where it wasn't a big holiday until the food people decided to make it a holiday that everyone celebrates.
No mine is just opinion I hate what windows did to Dos. I hate their modifications have to the latest desktop. I dislike the user interface, but Stardock is my main reason I don't switch over. The reasons given have not prevented microsoft from obsoleting software in the past. Even these desktop applications will be replaced down the road for better software. The only bummer comes in the fact that the smaller programmers will have proprietary software that will probably have to be reprogr
Can't I've been waiting for this ever since someone played a mean joke and said there was going to be a galactic civilization 3 in 2009.
You like it where the guys who have taken over the galaxy wouldn't dare fight anybody because they just are to weak to fight anyone. Their allies are just to weak to fight anyone in this civil war. Or do you like the fact that cruel and evil races that eat intelligent beings just love you who are the Altarians who love the Drengin. This is where the game usually go is something like this.
Well in the future windows is planning to get rid of the desktop instead of the user interface; which gives us less flexibility to do with the computer. This is Dos all over again. Where Linux is just the opposite where they want to give you more control on yor computer. Not to mention safe free software on a more stable system.
I'm curious can you tell me where they said auto resolve.
Quoting admiralWillyWilber, reply 50 I would like to think that they would do that. There are always an expansion or update planned in the future. Yes, but will rework of tech system be worthy of their time? If Brad is capitalist, will he be able to extract profitsss from this endeavor?
As far as in Twilight of the Arnor all the factions having their own techs was the mo
I forgot it's been awhile back they were going to do something like simutanus moves. Everyone had incorrectly took that to mean real time strategy, but from the interviews and playing call to power, civilization 3 and 4. I learned that means something else.
What they said as far as changing combat is that they are going to let you assign ships combat roles, or we can call these preferences like they have on distant worlds. That means you select a ship or type of ship. Then under the selection they already have on galactic civilizations you will have an option for the ship role. We could guess on what this would be on how the ship is going to fight. Then combat is going to play out as normal. I only hope it looks more like endless space version t
I've usually found doing good usually bring benefits, or at least not doing evil bring benefits. Sometimes this is for morale, diokinatuc, ir financial benefits. By the way life shows that evil people usually lose in the end. This is from personal experience.
There not opening Pandora's box; they are throwing you a bone.
Yeah since when do games don't have barbarians.
As much as that was really the way I was able to play against the Dread lords the best. There is going to be no Dread lords in the next game they have been wiped out.
Well I read a lot of this, and I will have to agreee that Brad said that Galactic civilizations is not a tactical game, and that there will be no tactics. The answer to tactics is that you will be able to assign ships combat roles. This is not that much you will probably highlight the ship, and under the options there will probably be a combat role option. This will have a default. Basically this would mean that the combat is basically the same the only difference is that the ships will do wh
Well I would like to see a black market that was actually a black market in the game. This would be different depending on the faction. As far as influence, mine is more of the Galactic council. I would like to see an enhanced version of this like the faction with the most influence would decide wgat to vote on. This would require there to be a list of options to vote on. Different factions would have different agendas. If there were two factions that had the same amount of influence
Wait you don't get Karma for Trolling. To bad that is not the only reason to Troll.
You could add space creatures in general. They are not a big deal on distant worlds they could also not be a big deal on Galactic civilizations.
Real time or is it about what I said about internet conversation.
