I decided to play the campaign a little more this time. I'm guessing the reason you couldn't beat it is because the only way to beat the Dread lords is to research starbase technology and build starbases. My question is how about more than one campaign. I like the achievement idea it would at least give me reason to play the campaign.
A Dyson sphere holds population. Never caught that. All I thought it was a huge power plant. Matter of fact it would probably be enough to power the empire for a long time. If this is to advanced to be on the game it could be a Precursor or Dread lords invention from a mega invent or like a wonder that was found on the game.
Actually, Quoting satoru1, reply 6They'll use Steamworks for it. is too simplistic an answer, although it is probably all the answer we will get for the time being. Unanswered are any steps we will have to take to enable this (if any), and what we will see when exception data is captured and transmitted, if anything (Note: I insist on being notified of any such events). Also missing is how to init
I can see how attractive it is to some people to want a game to do all of the work for them, but I, like many, am a control freak, so I would find a game that did all of this for me without my being able to tell it I didn't want it to do this would not be fun for me. I enjoy trying to outwit a game.
Dido, but I guess it doesn't matter if it is an option. I would never use this myself.
Well I think shyness in a woman is attractive unless it is caused by a childhood trauma.
I wonder at how much of this the devs read and how much of it they actually decide to implement. From what I hear, the Alpha is somewhat set in stone for the time being and I am unsure as to whether or not the changes made to the Alpha tech tree will be too significant. We are in pre-Alpha as of yet, so I'm still open to pleasant surprises. It just strikes me as a bit too hopeful to discuss changes of this magnitude to a nearly esta
Well I met all the above. I never debugged or did an alpha before. I agree with lucky Jack that it would be nice for them to have the questions before them. My experience with the past few years is that computer developers seem to be little on directions. Like they did in distant worlds where I would like them to have an interactive tutorial.
I did not notice the Stardock logo thanks.
That's nice to hear I would like to see the prototype.
Agreed, but I wouldn't mind randomly generating major and minor races. You could use the customize pictures with the stock factions. or you could even use the custom factions. I would like to see more custom picts anyways, but there will be redundancies this is not a problem. This is kind of a compromise between the current system and my 83 factions idea. I agree that the idea of expanding would give Ai problems. I would like to see expanding multiplayer because humans could handle this b
I was wondering who are the devs that are on the forums, and what are their nicknames. I get confused, and I would like a list I can check. If they change their names can they list that here.

Whatever Gc3 is going to use I want to know, and how are we going to accomplish that. If you are going to make this easy. Please do anounce when this comes out.

Regardless of aliens it is really about gameplay. I kind of like the concept of a low budget alien option anyways.
Well graphics isn't much its about playability and mechanics. I like the idea of turning Spore into a real time stradegy that actually does things like empire earth and distant worlds after the animal stage that someone came up with. I wish someone in this world would follow up on that idea, or I wish I could magically get the skills to make the game. P.S. I think the game sucks, but it was brimming with potential. I'm surprised with the lack of effort that electronic arts didn't
I like the idea, but, IMHO, that would require partial, of not complete redone of research system. Well, in simplest solution it won't - if researching techs in parallel will require same amount of time, as researching them sequentially or individually, then parallel study will give same results as queue study - simple reduce of micro control. So, instead of jumping into tech page every turn you would go there from time to time.</
I've never done an alpha before so I don't know what to expect, but when it comes to instructions on most computer things. Companies either assume you have a lot of comercial software, or people know actually what the good free ones are. I've even seen the bad apples actually work for other people. Or people assume you know something you don't. Or assume you know things about the computer that aren't common sense if you are over a certain age. I would hope all you people a
Ok that was just wishful thinking. My first idea was more like a Rts version of spore. Most of it was about my second idea. The main thing I look for is Tech research. I hope it will be a big map. Good Ai. Lots of players in the game and factions to pick from. I will try it as long as there is tech research and it is a space game. Please make thihardware intensive. You could use this post since you already started it.
Maybe having a smart enough option for the global settings like our production, starship, research, and capital planets would solve this. Honestly unless the planets were a manufacturing capital, production, or a starship planets I would not start converting all my planets into all factories especially considering I would probably have advanced factories. This alone would crush my empire, and make it where I can't produce anything because I would have no money coming in. I could s
I hope their would be a post announcing it with instructions on how to download and install it. Along with what programs we are going to need to effectively respond to this. Plus they would probably reply on at least all the active posts. Plus advertise it on steam, Gamestop, Stardock central, Facebook, Yahoo, and Joe user. That way no one is going to miss the Alpha, or not be able to respond on how it plays. Remember it is better to assume people need as much help as possible instead of bein
Also lets change the shape of the ship. In Galactic civilizations 2 Dread lords or Dark avatar there were like to original Silons in Battle star galactica. I wouldn't mind seeing designs like the new silons, but change the shape of their current ships in Twilight of the arnor.

Honestly there would be three one for planetary improvements, one for ships, and one for techs. Versus what we have now we don't have Ques we have to change every time a ship or improvement is built or at least look at the screen with a list of builds for the colonies. With Ques there would even be no need for the colony to be on the list. How is this not better than the a;ternative. Plus I have asked that they had settings for Ques to be set for situations. There is now way this would no
