That's what I was suggesting earlier; even though, I don't play with a technological victory on it should be left as an option. Which if it were on it would eliminate the infinate tech tree option. As long as the tech victory is an option I can shut off I don't care if it were there. I'm not suggesting that we should remove the technology victory option. I have also heard of better tech tree improvements there's a post about this.

I don't know the numbers. I tried Masters of orion 1 and 2, and decided this was not the way to go. I know someone who likes to play old games. I'm sure people who likes the classics buy these games, but if you ask me I would rather play Galactic civilization 2 over one. I can't really answer for Galactic civilization 1 though I just figured that Galactic civilization 2 had all the features plus more. As far as I guessed the only thing I missed other than some of the races were th

Ok this article must of been in 2012. Sometimes when you are remembering things the times change by a few months. Now I think about it it was towards the beginning of the year of 2012. The magazine could of been ending a year like taxes for all I know. Thanks for correcting me.

Yeah I would probably ask two questions. One do I like stradegy games, and do I like space games. If you've answered these qustions yes then I would say buy the game. As far as other Stardock games I'd say this is their poster game. I would probably compare this game to Civilization as an island warfare game. This game gives more ability options than any other game I've seen. This game does the best ship customization of any game I've seen. It has good race customization. I th

How come is that when I'm logged in to this site; I also have log in to the founders site when I'm logged in to this site. I think the screenshots are nice. Except can you tell me how many civilizations are on the next game. . Talking to Frogboy. What I did earlier was copy a screenshot of the Yor, and turned it into a pictire of my avatar. Then Gunauthar said on one of the posts that he didn't think I was allowed to do that, so I sent you a message asking you about t

Um have any of you guys had a desktop, and no laptops. With no internet. Tjats when you are glad that your games are on Cd's and Dvd;s. This has happened to me. You know that having a book around when you are playing a game and need to look Not everyone always have the internet or a laptop. That's when hard media come in handy. I miss having a user guide to look things up where instead I have to jump through a bunch of hoops in the middle of the game. On the other hand it

Still, I'm not sure, if he is allowed to do that. Frogboy said, that we can discuss the stuff in the Founder's Vault, but are not allowed to redistribute anything. Using something from the Vault as an avatar could be considered redistribution.
Sorry didn't know I thought I read th
Quoting admiralWillyWilber, reply 36 If we won't have online meeting at same time, than why do anything - these or Steam boards will do nicely, aren't they? IMHO the whole point of convent is being able to "chat" (maybe even talk via voice, for those with microphones headsets and broad channels) in real time. Old guard will be able to share their experience and help newcomers to became part of the family. Sort of. [/quote
So I agree, online "convent" is best option. However, we shouldn't forget about different time zones, so we either need several convents in suitable hours for local residents, or we need conventathon that'll go for at least 24 hours, so everyone could participate.
We don't necessarily have to have a online meeting at the same time. Good point on time zones. I don't want to be the one running a 24 hour chat t
How about online? I'm from Switzerland, also not quite in the region...
This does seem to be the only practical way to do this; unless, someone buys me a ticket. Because the founders are all around the world, or is this for everyone not just founders, Just remember that whatever video chat we use it will have to be a free one, so everyone can participate. Because if we require a paid one a lot of people may not par
