I run LH with few graphics issues (I turn off shadows). Yet I can only enjoy playing SK in cloth-map only due to incredible slowdown, and even some tactical battles chug. Here's my rig: Dell Inspiron 3521 Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3217U CPU @ 1.80 GHz 4.00 GB RAM Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000

Trog archers- Conflicted on this. It pisses me off that they keep killing my units, but those trog archers actually break up the monotony of killing enemy stacks. By adding an attrition element, I am more likely to wait to engage (so that out posts can soften them up and make an autoresolve maybe less risky). I say they keep snipe, just lower the damage bonus a tad.

That map was challenging - few settling spots and never found a single metal or horse resource. Killing neutrals does seem to show settlable land every once in a while. Killing enemy cities always seems to reveal settlable land.

I think I have figured out the flaw in my strategy, outposts don't get captured in this game so I need to spam them. Don't need to guard shards necessarily, just slap an outpost on them and get the mana when I can. Also, pioneers can built outposts upgrades on existing outposts. Just realized that! Now those mountain choke-points will get upgraded outposts. Realized this too late in my second game, though - doomsday counter is 80% full and it's not looking good.</p

I used both the blindness sovereign spell and Tandis' blindness activated ability on a harbinger stack, in a tactical battle. Both successfully hit, yet the harbinger's dodge remained high, with melee units getting a 25% hit chance and archers a pitiful 3%. The "+Blindness" text appeared over the unit's head, yet clicking on the unit detail screen did not reflect any change in the dodge unitstat.

I cannot build Paladins after building a Citadel - the paladin option doesn't even appear to tell me I am short required resources. Yet according to the coreunits.xml library for the paladin unit I just need a Citadel, 2 metal and 1 crystal. Seems like a bug.

Ranged units are powerful early game. Then Harbingers and shadow wargs are common, and they are basically unhittable by archers, leaving them as wasted army space. So Archers go from useful to almost useless.Yet they can't be upgraded for damage or accuracy. Can the +50 dodge versus ranged be nerfed a bit? It's okay that some units are resistant to archery, but +50 ranged dodge on a 50 dodge unit (harbinger) is a little excessive.
I wish we had made Legendary Heroes a stand alone game (I really like the name) so that we could eventually have a Legendary Heroes II.
...why can't you, implied naming conventions be damned? I really dig where Sorcerer King is going, and can't wait to play the final product along with LH for some time. But should the tropes of expansion pack names really hold you back from making another, non-asymmetrical 4X i

I've played two games for roughly 3 hours each, and barely passed the half-way mark on the clock in the first game, am less than 50% full on the clock in the second game. These are on smaller maps, with a larger number of shards games could likely last many, many hours. Throw in the fact that you can turn the clock back during some quests, and I think Frogboy is right on saying this is no quick game. Keep in mind this game is (I think) trying to combat the 4X problem of a

This is a possibly very awesome feature, allowing even more customization than unit design. But when you craft an item, the UI, as far as I can tell, doesn't differentiate between where a unit is, what stack, where in the world, anything. So I am clicking the arrow, and besides champions, I don't know which soldier or pikeman I am equipping something on... In order to give a specific trained unit later, I have to go several menus in to find the unit and equip the item. It'

This is the right place for bugs, yes? -the Citadel, which is supposed to unlock Paladins, didn't. I thought maybe I was missing a hidden requirement, but no paladins after having crystal, horses, metal, and free logistics. Is there another requirement not listed by the UI? -Equipped a healing ring, but the ability shows up with a red cross-out, and can't be used. -You can equip items on the warg unit you start with, but they don't seem to adjust his stats.

Playing a second game, difficulty lowered a notch. Doing much better, though I let my Tandis stack wander and I paid for it by losing 2 of my 4 cities! I am realizing I am very bised by playing so much LH, and my expectations are based on that game. I'll try to fight this bias consciously as much as possible. So to continue: Good: -Challenge is consistent. -Resources are much more plentiful for me this map. Lack of resources might hav
We were thinking about making Tandis' buffs more of a 'Army General' variety, turning Protect into an bonus to every friendly on the battlefield and adding one more 'Buff All' ability (giving a boost to attack, init, or some fire/cold/lighting defense) to his tree.
I like the sound of that. Is there a 'Commander' class in SK? If not some of the Commander'
