Is there someone I'm supposed to email or a webpage or something?

Just put a real ladder in the game and it won't matter. Play arranged teams and nobody will quit anymore, and when they do quit you'll be glad because it means you won. I played competatively in WC3 for a long time, and having somebody quit when I was beating them was just as gratifying as winning. The problem is the lack of competition, or any reason whatsoever to stay in a game where you're losing.
Cause I now can't get into a game, and it isn't April.
Thanks for the quick reply.
I thought there was a fix for the connectivity issues going in Thursday? Did I miss something, or are we still waiting for it?
They shouldn't exist in any ranked game. It is more harmful to your team to be playing with AI than to be playing 1 player short. Unless the intent is to punish you more when a teammate leaves the game they should be removed entirely.
AI is terrible in every way. Just remove it. If everyone quits the game on the opposing team, it should just end the game in victory for you.
Having your disconnected teammate turn into AI is the worst thing that could happen to you. I'd rather that he joined the other team as an AI so I could farm him indefinitely.
The gameplay is great. Task 1 complete. The online play needs to at least be on par with battle.net. There needs to be several different ladders (solo, random team, arranged teams) that players can compete in. This whole pantheon thing should have been scrapped in beta (was there one?). Arranged teams is really the most important thing since this is a team game. Are there any plans to have a ladder for specific teams?
Is there a plan to add some kind of arranged teams feature with a ranking system similar to battle.net? Are all of my ranked matched always going to be with random fools of varying skill level? In general, is there somewhere that you guys have posted a list of features you plan to add to multiplayer?
It's funny that the most sensible solution seems to always be to do what is done on battle.net. It's not a coincidence. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel.
A plead from me: Fix your game. Go play on battle.net and take notes on what you need to add to make this (great) game not suck online.
It has to be a joke if they're actually even talking about an expansion. Fix the game you have. Hire some 14 year old child from battle.net to teach you how a competative online game should be built.
It was sarcasm. Notice the rolley eyes.
Yeah, cause that happens all the time. [e digicons]O:)[/e]
Or you might lose 90% of the people who buy this game and encounter egregious problems the second they try to play. Good luck seeing this game go anywhere without a customer base.
Hire some programmers who have written server code before. I really want this game to succeed, but I can only take a few more days of the connectivity issues. I have no idea how this game was allowed to be released in this state, but a multiplayer game that drops games 75% of the time... Come on. Best of luck, I hope you figure it out in time.
I don't really think it's funny. Without some kind of ladder I'm going to get bored in about a week. With a ladder I could probably play this game for T (where T is the time inbetween now and the release of Starcraft 2).
bump
Are there any plans to add a Battlenet-esque ladder to this game? The Pantheon seems like some kind of tournament or something that I don't really understand. Tournaments are cool, but a long ladder/league type system is almost required for a competative game like this. Anyone know?
