Click on any one of your ships and move it manually, (ie. right click where you want it to go). And yes it is a bug, but not one that will be fixed any time soon.

The missing turn button seems to be when the game is waiting for one off my ships to complete it's move. I just select the first ship I see to complete the move. try that.
I thought the Yor were sentient machines? It’s like saying the Borg should have culture. The Yor influence by conquering. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!!!
Forgive my ignorance, but what is this Hi Def mod? I had issues w/o installing any mods. I turned up my virt memory and turned off astroid textures and I have had no isues since. Of course I am only playing on a large map with eight AI's set on challenging.
Thanks Kryo.
Maybe a new option in the Diplomacy Screen called a 'Tone' setting..."I want that Starbase." vs. "I WANT THAT STARBASE!" this would require a reworking of it. Maybe the next time around.
So maybe this isn't a 'Real' Mod but... How do I change the music for the game. The stock stuff sounds like B5 meets LOTR. I realize there are copyright and licensing issue involved. I mean come on, how about some Bowie's 'Space Oddity', Queen's 'Flash Theme Song' or maybe 'Major Tom (Coming Home)' by Peter Schilling. OH...How about some of the 'Dark Side Of The Moon' by Pink Floyd. Or maybe 'Welcome To The Machine' from the 'Wish You Were Here' album for our Yor playe
So you could do the whole selling an offending starbase to the AI civ? Say I'm the Terrans and I park a influence starbase in deep Yor territory, someplace not really useful to me. They say 'I want it gone', I say 'sure, pay me 300bc.' Think it'll work? How much does a Constructor cost? SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!
There appears to be a thread on this in 'Bug Reports' see 'Out of Memory Errors Persist...' posted by Darkieus. They mentioned a Virtual Memory tweeking in the Main Trouble Shooting Board. See 'GETTING HELP for GalCiv II / Dark Avatar' posted by Frogboy. I hope this helps.
This issue is on another thread. Can somebody at Stardock please give word on weather or not they are working the issue? Does this mean I paid fourty bucks for a pretty light show with no conclusion? I'm starting to be annoyed.
Perhaps we should move this disscussion to the bug reports thread?
Also lets not forget this... #5 on the Gamers Bill of Rights. Gamers shall have the right to expect that the minimum requirements for a game will mean that the game will play adequately on that computer. Not being able to save and finish a game and having it crash does not mean adquate to me.
A bug is a bug. Should be fixed, yes?
So the only real 'fix' is to put in more memory? I hope 4 gigs is enough...[e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]
They going to fix this? Seems unfair.
Maybe it is the autosave function. Is there a way of turning it off?
I am having a very similar problem, only when I try to upgrade any ship once I am 'deep' into a game. Perhapes the minimum memmory requirements should be bumped. I only have a gig. I kninda figured I would have to anyway.
Thx LT. [e digicons]:)[/e]
I have GalCiv2 Ult and was also wondering about espionage. I have placed four agents, intel gathering only, in the Drath Legion and have attained advanced intel. Do I just pull my agents out and reassign them or keep them in place? Does my advanced level of intel continue if I do remove my agents? Also, what does 'IIRC' mean? I have seen it in replies to posts.
Found the replies very helpful, thanks.
Thanks Guys. [e digicons][/e]
I'm new to the game so bear with me... Once a starbase is built it cannot be moved...right? If I decide that a partticular starbase is no longer useful in its current postion, is there a way to recoup some of the cost of building said star base? Thanks in advance. BTW...this is one KickA** of a game! The folks at Stardock should be proud.
