Piece of crap - no. But it isn't 100% damage, that I am sure of. Used it in a few battles vs Oak, Sedna, QoT and their minions didn't die as fast as they should if they took the whole damage. I think it is at least 10%, but I can't be sure - most of my attacks were AoE, which caused the minions to have 2 hit splashes at once, making it unclear how much damage they took. But I don't think its 100%. No way.

It is quite an obvious combo, however it is very weak. The first reason is, it can be interrupted. You can't press the buttons within .1 of one another. I've tried it offline, to remove lag from the equation. My computer is quite powerful, I've never experienced lag in the game except when I minimize and maximize it a couple items in a row. Anyways, when I push HoL and Defiance as fast as I can, only HoL activates - you have to wait a moment between the two items. Thus, it can be easily negat
I never thought death animations do something. THANKS!
First, I LOL'd at "grassy ass". LOL! If the nerf of ONE item can be so gamechanging (and I indeed see the reason why), does that item even deserve to stay in the game? Also, the way HoL is gonna be nerfed looks perfect to me - just limit how spammable it is. Now people will learn that hp and mana reged outdo the heart big time!
As JagerJack said, he/she has to pay 3k+ gold to max out his/her minions, if I remember correctly. Kill them while ignoring the DG - it'll hurt very much! A good hammer slam, mist or anything aoe will make him/her ragequit, lolz. Don't forget, he/she misses out on gear to get this army. After you kill the minions, he/she is yours to toy with.
I usually pick my ammy of teleportation favor, and a banded armor + scale helm. No matter of the demigod I play. Against erebus, Id take the scalemail instead. Might drop a few coins on a totem of revelation if I can afford to stay in the base for those 50 gold to show up.
Since you use spirits, I might suggest you use them to harass him. They evade mines if I am not mistaken, and also are pretty much damage at later levels. This way, you'll keep him busy - winning time to farm creeps for more spirits, cap flags or join the fray. I also play a spirit build with 1 point in soul power and a good level of penitence + divine justice and SoF(generally missing shield, lolz) and tend to stay away from the enemy DG when we are fighting, moving in only to throw penitenc
This answer was quite convincing, so I guess I'll try your way. The reason I get Pelenor over Vlemish however is not the actualy regeneration however, it is the max mana that counts for me. The extra 500 mana a battlecrown gives is enough to use one more skill, and considering the rook has quite a low starting amount of mana (880, though it does grow with the levels) it is a significant boost. Seeing how your math goes though, Pelenor is quite bad - a level 1 rook has a bit above 2 mana per s
I haven't read it all, but my build is almost the same. I leave structure transfer at level 1 and get god's strength sooner, and THEN max transfer. Other than that, it goes the same - towers and shoulder take priority. I do have a question though - why take vlemish instead of pelenor battlecrown, and why take scalemail instead of banded armor? Why take energizer, considering mana flows well at the high level you can take it at? EDIT: Nice to see someone else appreciates

He said it's not a practical build, those artifacts make it obvious.
Nope, tower links don't increase range. Just pretty animation. Not only asked about it, I've read it a couple of times, even tested it myself eventually. About 2, they become a bit smarter. I never see easy comps teleport, unlike hard ones, and normal never dodge my Rook's hammer, unlike hard ones.
Thanks for the answers, I'll try your advices as soon as I play the game again!
Hello guys. Not sure if this is the right forum, but since it is about strategies.. I am still very new to the game. Since I don't even know the DMs good enough, I decided to play a bit with the AI to learn them and choose the one I like most. I kind of started to hate generals, and am currently set with the Rook. However, my build always relies on towers. I never put anything in the 2 attack skills, which are recommended in all the guides I've read so far. Why are they so fav
