Recomm. Requirements Met, TERRIBLE performance, can't see my own demigod, EXTRA-LOW FPS in Demigod Technical Support Demigod Forums

My PC: Windows XP SP2 3 GHz Processor 1024 MB RAM 56 MB 3D Video Card (ATI Radeon 9550) Latest version of video card drivers. Game running on the lowest settings possible with /nosound and it's still terribly low fps. Also I can't see my own demigog, just when I hover mouse over it, I can see the highlighting.
