Oddly enough, not to place the blame and saying Demigod is coded wrong, but it could be the game causing it, be it fully or only halfway. Why do I say this? I've had it before, in another game. I was playing WOW a few years back and had a Radeon 9800 in my system. Can't remember the exact name, but it was one of those superfast cards when it was first released and it sold a lot. Nope, not in the desktop market, which is fine. Linux does quite well in the server market. There's no shame in that. Desktop and server markets are quite different from eachother. Maybe they should both stick to their own market, or atleast make a decent enough alternative before entering the other market. Not sure how MS is on the server market. I think they do pretty okay, but they don't have the same

For some reason everyone thinks Google is Jesus incarnated but they know more about you than the government does. Well I read confirmation from Microsoft that we ARE allowed to order 'foreign' copies op Windows for the reduced price, just as long as you have it delivered at a 'local' address (read: an address in the country that has the reduced pre-order price). Aye I know, my point was: if those cheap shops can sell a game for €40 and still make a profit (most of them do quite well actually) why do the big shops price them at €50? The only reason I can think of is just to max out their profit, which is their right ofcourse, but I think they are ripping off average consumers that don't look around before they buy (which ofcourse is largely their own fault). Hmm guess we'll have to wait a long time then. Not angering local retailers sounds like a valid reason, but not needing them is the exact same reason I think it should be cheaper to begin with :p On the other hand, there are some webshops that can offer games 10-20% lower than 'normal' shops, so howcome they can cut the price and big shops supposedly can't? I still think the big shops are just using games for easy money and they don't care much about their consumers.

I have no purchase on there. The only reason I even have it on my PC is that I bought CS:S a while back and it forces you to install and run Steam to even play it. Which is why I love Impulse. It's great for updating and browsing around games, but when I don't feel like having it on I can just close the app. Gotta love Impulse. Yes, but it's silly we have those prices in the first place. Thank god some sites like cdwow.com and play.com have good prices AND ship to the EU, though I'm not sure they do it to all EU countries.
