.... Posting on the forums of a competitor in the genre about whether anyone has played the competition and asking if it's as good as another competitor. Way to go!

Most of the kings were usurped covertly rather than a huge civil war. Kind kings included. Many were poisoned and "died mysteriously" : "On April 9, 1483, Edward IV unexpectedly died" Richard III was a kind king (supposedly moral and just, corrected the "misrule" of the former King) yet he was plagued by highly effective propaganda calling him a betrayer like Judas, a murderer like King Herod killing innocent children, calling him a tyrant, accusing him of i

Your reaction to Demigod is the same I had towards DOTA several years ago. Thought I'd never get the hang of it since the few games I joined were filled with assholes who were really good (or maybe they weren't and I reallllly sucked lol.. dunno). I never played DOTA after that. I've heard it's a great game tho. Kind of depressing to just throw out a game because you never bothered to stick through the beginning noob part. I decided to change that mentality whe
btw. if you want to blame anyone then blame gpg for the bugged game.
Ah yes the mysterious overlord who has never shown his face. "It's all GPG's fault!" "We can't do anything, our hands are tied by GPG" "GPG is really the one in charge here" . Does GPG even know they are supposedly in charge of demigod? Why haven't they said a single word? Why does Stardock have the demigod forums instead o

Thomas_t_p : Host d/c to get wins. Has 65% win ratio, but he's god awful. He did the host d/c after 9 min and got another "win" . Would highly suggest to avoid any game he hosts (usually 1v1's) http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/1322050/player/47557/ - just one example.

eh or the general is using cloak of the night, very popular choice :P It's not as effective w/ universal gadgets as you can waste 500g if they don't die. I dunno, I've died to gadgets at level 1, but I just don't generally see them as a good idea early game. Even if you get a kill, that's a 100g increase or so.. mehhh

ya I rarely get j-treads, but when I do my above reason is why. Like, 1 game out of 70 I'll get j-treads :P

No, most ARE that stupid. I could have sworn I said that in my last post. I suppose I can play the part of broken record. It works, do it, people ARE that stupid, it's a good skill to be able to have, it works, people ARE that stupid, it has worked countless times on GOOD players, it works, if you advocate against it you simply are unable to do it properly, it works, do it, people ARE that stupid, do it, it works.
But on a late-game Oak? What health or mana item are you giving up in order to reserve a slot for J-treads? Also, a late-game Oak shouldn't be doing much running from anyone. If he needs to get away fast, a shield-tp combo works nicely, not to mention surge of faith.
you can't just keep running to portals and the shield / porting away. J-treads allow you to run to that portal, force the enemy to tele in and you just run away to another flag /
aah and the thing to get botf only after luring someone in. you can do that but you dont have to. seriously, who follows into towers early on is stupid anyway and will get killed later.
completely not true. This has worked countless times against GOOD players. A lot of good players follow into towers early for a kill. People don't expect to be pushed that far and they die unless they have a trick rolled up their sleeves. They just assume the enem

If you continuously lose in noob games, then you certainly aren't ready for mid - expert games. That's why you get kicked from them. They're doing everyone a courtesy by kicking you. They just want to get a decent game in, and in this game, one person can ruin it for a team if everyone else is the same ranking. Once you learn the ropes, a noob game can easily be swayed by one good person on a team. That's how everyone else advanced up. You can't just expe
Good points. $800 million in revenue from North America alone for $50 million a year is definitely a cash cow, if your cost is correct. I'd love to have a 1550% gross margin. [e digicons]:)[/e]
lol sorry. Not to prolong this discussion, but I forgot to put in that the $50 mil is just the cost to keep the servers running :) Still a large amount of other costs, but I don't doubt they generate a pretty penny off it. <

eh iunno.. I personally love a minion hybrid build which gets shield at lvl 11 and has shield 3 by 13. Basically the minions just give you a little more versatility. You can take down towers faster and by taking less damage, and yet you still have the assassin role. I've had amazing success with it (as long as my teammates know what I'm doing). It really only fails if my teammates play too aggressively at the beginning rather than playing more conserva
