I actually like both ideas of having an all powerful sovereign that your game depends upon and the ability to have a succession. Put it in the option to choose one path or the other. Force the AI or if in a multiplayer game other players to follow the same rule set. There are some really good ideas for having a dynastic progression, though if there are enough changes to truly make the sovereign special and standout both options should be viable. Agreed with the couple posts above this. The search engine used for these forums really could use an overhaul, but I think I'd rather see more updates for Elemental first.

Ok, I'll admit this post isn't just from me. I was reading a reply Gravedancer made in another post about how s/he wishes there was a dev tracker included in Elemental's forums.
