One of the best tools for detecting assholes is the lobby chat. Just strike up a conversation and see what happens. Often people will just start argueing or trash talking for no reason, these are the people to kick.

With everyone else on the rematch feature here. No one will ever use the feature as described here.
Comedy third option: the swap ability turns out to be useless, the spike throw ability turns out to be the character's signature move.
A better way to check if the other team is simply to go to pantheon and type in their names. If the last several games someone played were with the team you are about to play against, they might be a premade.
I know very little about ice builds, but heres my take on a pure fire TB. First of all, Blade of the Serpent is absolutely mandatory. Activating BotS and then circle of fire on a creep wave will generally refill your mana bar. This is the main draw of fire TB. As for fighting other demigods, play conservatively. Don't stand toe to toe with other demigods, don't walk too far into the lane. Most new players get killed by fighting their opponents in avoida
It seems a good deal of these complaints come from the assumption that towers should be unassailable fortresses, and that games should last for days. Those towers were not meant to be permenant.
Were the items disabled for 'timeout conflicts' or for balance reasons? What are these alleged timeout conflicts?
There are tower damage and health upgrades in the game, they could do more though. The 1st upgrades are really useful, but after that they taper off.
Next time they decide to wipe our favor I'll have to try that build.
I'm surprised there aren't more mentions of niche favor items. Swift and BotF are great all purpose items, but for certain builds there are just ridiculous synergies availible with some items. Some fun tricks: Staff of Renewel + Snipe Reg on leviathin - The mana flag plus some mana items let you really, really spam snipe with this build. If the opponent has no healing, it becomes very hard for them to hold flags early-mid game. Horn of Battle + Minion erebu
Fire TB is not amazing at killing enemy demigods (though he can certainly hold his own), but is quite good at seiging towers and protecting citadels. Also, I highly, HIGHLY recommend blade of the serpent for his favor item- it lets you spam your spells indefinitly early game. And yes, going fire TB against a sedna or QoT player is not the best idea.
Also most people play rook in weird ass ways that practically guarantee a loss
Yes. This. People play him as if he were a bigger slower Oak. Then they get frustrated and ragequit after feeding the enemy 5 easy kills.
The problem isnt noobbasher, the problem is the lack of any meaningful and fair ranking system.
Elaborate names and filters are great when the game is starcraft and there are 2000 people looking for a game at the same time, but when there are so few players, we just take what we can get.
Staff of renewel? Really? I find teleportation amulet to be very, very useful with rook.
You know, you can look up anyone's stats on pantheon. If someone joins your game with a skill level above or below what you want, just explain this to them and kick them.
People talk about how awesome 16 towers or 12 mines is, but guess what? So is 8 towers and 6 mines. Double regulus is not in leui of one regulus.
Yeah a tower rook is pretty good on prison, but you have to be careful- its easy to get stranded in the open and ganked. I find that tower rook is even more effective on cataract though- the narrow lanes mean your opponents cant go around your tower farm. Snipe is quite good on leviathin. You have enough mana to spam it, and can essentially be in 3 lanes at once. Lastly, the walk back to base can be quite long, so your pings can be very annoying.
Hows the lag on this? I've been waiting some time for an online tournament fighter.
Ironic to claim impulse is coming to the rescue when in reality, it was the very existence of impulse that prevented demigod from being on steam and having the community features it needed.
Just roll back to 1.01 please.
Maybe diminishing returns for killing the same demigod over and over? This would have the bonus effect of lessening the effect of so called 'feeders'.
Well, alot of items were only useless due to the existence of HoL.
How is it that you still cannot see full game names in the lobby? I mean really, this is a 10 line change if that.
People who are saying the maps are too complicated are severely underestimating the number of highly skilled fans with an unhealthy devotion to the game.
