A few basic community features that would go a long way: 1. Seeing if your friends are in a lobby vs in a game. Perhaps putting a star next to games that have a friend in them. 2. Prominent displays of win-loss-disconnect ratio. This would go a long way towards preventing the super early rage quit. Also, ditto for the attack move option. Frequently that is precisely what i wish to do.

My solution is simple: if my teammate is being a jerk, I warn him once. Usually this does nothing. The next time he starts trash talking me, I tell the other team gg, apologize to any other teammates i may have, and quit. Life is too short to spend hanging out with assholes.
If you can't beat em, join em. Of course once you join em their weaknesses become more apparent.
It might be hard to keep track of when 3 minutes is up. Is there any way that after 3 minutes the "are you sure you want to quit?" dialogue can be changed to "are you sure you want to ragequit?"?
Congrats on finishing demigod.
Friends list was one of my favorite features of steam. It exists in impulse, but it doesn't really do anything. You can't really join games your friends are in (in game generally means inside of a game, no way to see if it means waiting for game), and it's incredibly difficult to mark people as friends (you have to type out their name (as far as i know), no in game button for adding friends, no history, ect.). These would be good features.
I play regulus often. The best counter to mines/snipe is a high max hp. Best counter to angelic fury build is armor items.
I like the idea of having an incentive to stay in game. However, I'm not sure favor points will work. At some point you just have all the favor points you really need. I would rather see something like starcraft does, where you have a visible star rating, and your record is displayed upon joining a game. So if you join games and people notice your 10-0-124 (10 wins no loses 124 disconnects/rage quits), its hard to get people to take you seriously.
Artifacts are nice, but they are far less cost effective than buying troops. Of course, it doesn't take long to buy all the troops... this is when artifacts should really be bought. I've certainly stole a few games from teams that didn't understand this.
I think a simple way to stop the shield/bramble shield + HoL combo is to make it so that getting hit interupts it, instead of taking damage. It's really the same thing, except that if Oak uses shield and HoL and I hit him HoL is still interupted even if he didn't take damage because of shield.
This is how the game works right now I beleive.
Any plans to fix the quit bug? Aka, quitting a game freezing everyone elses computer for 30 seconds? It gets pretty ridiculous when you have to remake an 8 man game, and some unlucky soul has to wait three and a half minutes to even quit. At least let us quit during the lag window.
Demigod worked fine up until today. Now, whenever I click on "internet" when trying to get into multiplayer, the game freezes for a few minutes, and then in the lobby, crashes extremely frequently. I can still play singleplayer. Any ideas?
Tis a sad day when 130 upload is considered lower end.
Is getting triple fireballed really worse than getting sniped fireballed and penitenced?
I feel like karma should be used for something more universal than the endless concession debate. I would rather see people who constantly insult and put down their teamates lose karma rather than people who say gg and quit a few minutes before an inevitable defeat.
$20 means alot of different things to different people.
Can we make this into a super thread for people who need coupons? I'd be willing to shell out $20 for demigod if someone wants to PM me a coupon code.
