Well if he starts another thread wondering how its crashing you'll know why. Sometimes during SDC update when it asks to reboot your machine usually because its updated MCP core files. So he might loose his new compiled images.

Can't wait till someone else has an answer so I can find out whats up. There's only a few programs activates it i think, when ObjectBar, DesktopX and perhaps Tab Launchpad is enabled f
I think some people just hate updating old skins.

#25 by The Skins Factory - 1/8/2004 12:53:46 AM well let me rephrase that... I don't think people realize how long "good" skins take to make. Yes very true, sometimes im so sick of it people spend more time rushing and uploading just so they can try and be famous O_o I would rather have one bodacious skin that make's you go ohhhhh
A hacked up job aswell, i'll bet that was done in lunchtime.
#4 by Admin Jafo - 1/4/2004 7:16:24 AM Ah....but 'minimum' may mean a frame-rate of 30 per minute rather than per second....could be a real downer to be in a constant state of 'bullet time'.... D3 isn't meant to have high framerate, max for it is 30 IIRC even on top systems with full detail perhaps, also it wont be like normal fps type game
You can still have it looking like its alpha blended, just have the thumb over scrollback as a bitmap for it to look like its semi-trans.
It might just be a transparency glitch with IE, try blending actual image onto the scrollshaft to see if it dissapears... use it as bmp instead just to see if it is any better.
The scrollbar thumb has grew a pair of antennas, bit hard to tell from that screen, but is margins off at all or skinmetrics? Ah it might be margins on actual scrollbar shaft, if actual thumb uses magic pink at all this can sometimes happen, use to get this on certain mac style themes.
Shouldn't have to mess with images, try SkinMetrics, Scrollwidth 1 or 13.
Start button is screwed up during conversion process... Cute WC icon... you make that and Winamp icon? The Subzero AVI's are absoloutely stunning, specially Internet download as the globe spins. Also font in User pane should be Hooge_53, can't remember its exact name. [Message Edited]
#6 by Kona0197 - 12/30/2003 8:38:57 PM Has to be Microsoft made because everything else is either to intrusive or messing things up. Norton is really bad. Usually the user, but Norton has its good side from time to time. Anyway thought you were computer technician... from what you said in another thread :o
16 Icons for IE 47 for Windows Explorer 6 for Miscellaneus and Go Button heh this is probably longest process of creating a Blind now and 7 AVI's but these certainly are a nice feature to add when your design is finnished. by Skinner I.R. Brainiac - 12/28/2003 8:14:17 PM They are .tga's,would they even work on anything less than win2000?Or
It might be cool having a option to show or hide them, avatar or some sort i like how ArtUproar uses them. Didn't they only show for GUI Olympics?
If you have Paint Shop Pro, use Animation Shop. Bare in mind images have to be 8bit, just like shell large images. They will work fine as 24bit but looks messed up in WB config.
It'll be well and trully expired, since it was early alpha/beta been so long cannot quite remember that build. [Message Edited]
What is wrong with this picture here... users posting absoloutely everything in the General Discussion, my eyes practicly bleed reading this section due to user's being so careless and not posting in the appropriate sections. The mod's did not add General Discussion - Help Discussion - Skinning Discussion just to look pretty, have a look in Help or skinning section. There is hardly any posts for 14 - 20 hours or post's never been touched for days or even weeks. Does
#40 by Orion - 12/20/2003 8:18:13 PM No matter how good you are or how long you've been at it (almost 25 years for me) we all run into a stumper every now and then. I still believe that computers throw obstacles in your way just to test you. Yes, true but research is a good bit of knowledge than panicking as soon as the problem has ar
#36 by Kona0197 - 12/20/2003 8:06:43 PM I already went to college and trained as a computer technician and did you get the certificates? :o If thats the case i think this would have been a doddle to you before you made this thread [Me
Kona, just a thought ever decided on going to college to learn about computer maintenance? You don't realize the amount of forums that have "help my drivers fail to install, help this help that" and its same people that keep breaking things and will not learn from their experiences. It crack's me up seeing people still using 9x and wonder why things go tits up, when 9x makes the baby jesus cry. As you will probably know how computer repair shops make a fortune out of these peop
