The UB needs to be powerful because he cannot surprise any one. There are several Dgs that can surprise you and then pick up the kill. The UB can just get in your face and survice long enough to slay you where you stand.
Name two. Erebus surprises people, everyone else just wades into a fight, which by the way UB is much better at than most with his innate 6.3 speed and his movement speed enhancing skill.
Nerf HP items, or buff dps items. UB is too strong because HP items make him too hard to kill.
Seriously man, give it up. UB's strength comes from dealing insane damage inside of a stun, reducing HP is NOT going to hurt UB relative to other DGs, it's going to magnify his early fight burst damage.
Hi. First I'll just list the issue I'm facing and then I'll fill in the backstory of how I got here. I uninstalled Demigod and whenever I try to reinstall it says I am working in offline mode. However when I go to log in it seems to log in fine. I can see my account info, friends list, etc., you name it. However no matter how many times I reinstall Impulse the same issue persists. I never had any issues with the original DG installation and update process. The reason I uninst
I saw a reference to North Korea...don't make me laugh. If they for some reason decide to invade or send a nuke towards us, they would basically get stomped to the ground, and the US would gain a lot more influence in the international community due to suffering from a disaster. The bottom line is that the US is spending money on preparation for conventional warfare which pretty much no longer exists.
North Korea could flatten Seoul in a matter of hours, they have a mass
Betting the future of your country on someone else's rationality is not really sane. In 1939 Germany's biggest trading partner was France. The fact of the matter is that we may not have the option of not going to war, unless we simply ignore treaty obligations, vital national interests, or other major concerns.
What was going on with Germany was visible from a mile away. Everyone knew what was happening, we just hoped it would stop. Germany was appeased over and over before war
The F-22 is the ultimate air superiority fighter, having less than 200 of them will look really fucking stupid if we end up at war with China or Russia in the next ten years and they have an air superiority fighter of their own that can take down the F-35's in reasonable ratios. Claiming it's useless because they aren't using it against two piddly shit countries that didn't have a real air force to begin with is fucking stupid. Only an utter moron would use a top of the lin
Cutting military spending is not a brilliant idea in the middle of a war, especially when the military is the most visible advantage. Must be a confused person.
There's a difference between cutting spending and reducing resources available for combat. Cutting back on a fighter aircraft which has practically no usefulness in modern warfare and costs over a quarter of a billion dollars per airfract, or not buying into an outrageous tanker leasing plan, or having troops do KP duty
And here it is: Predictable appeals to emotion as members of Congress become more desperate to pass a reform bill: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0809/26471.html
Does either side of this argument really want to be responsible for the emotional appeals used by people who share their opinion?
It's too difficult to time an interrupt correctly, especially in laggy games. Even having a split second lag can throw your interrupt timing off. Giving it a 3 second cap time would be akin to the 3000+hp potion. It would work fine.
Expanding on that, they could just reduce the duration of cap locks to 10-15 seconds and add greater cap locks with a 3 second cast time and 45 second duration.
What do you guys opposed to government control think of Healthy San Francsico? Is a government health care plan as a sub-national level acceptable?
ZehDon pardon my speculation, but I'm going to wager you didn't have an active valor flag when they defended against your giants cap lock.
I do as well and doesn't stand to reason that splitting your premade in half to make a game would than = premade vs premade?
When we had 6 we did two premade vs. premade amongst ourselves and it was quite fun. However if you mean splitting up a 3v3 then no, that's not a good solution.
Yes, UB is overpowered if you allow him to get 5 Legendary items.
Correct
Protip: Destroy his citadel before he gets even one legendary.
That's very poor balance, especially if we're supposed to play 4v4s and 5v5s on larger maps which have excessive gold mines (Zikurat).
I think the problem with the prison industry is a common one with government contracting. In the normal market if you raise your prices too high eventually you just won't sell anything. The government can't really say no in the end and private industry knows that. They then use the money the government pays them to then lobby for longer sentences and for further criminalition of non-violent offenses. Basically we need to give those people the middle finger and decriminalize pot and th
Private or government run, makes no difference. What needs to be done is to remove the TV's computers and regress back to the 20's and restart the chain gangs. Put these idiots to work, make it tough, and quit making it more like a vacation spot. used to be that once you were a convicted felon, you lost the right to vote and other things. Now thats changed. They have to many rights. Getting to be, why put them in jail, just slap their hand and say,,,don't do that again.
Fi
And now... the lousy side of premades IMO - the game eventually starts to lose some of its shine.
Gotta say I agree with this. The most fun games I've had lately have been the ones where I joined with you or kalel and we fought full premades with randoms filling out our team, and the one where it was purgespam, I think atma, and me against you, kalel, and one other (I'm certain it was me and purge vs. you and kalel, I can't be certain about the thirds).
Yeah, because they sentence people to dismemberment, stoning, or beheading instead of jail time. Most of the drug offenses we jail people for are capital offenses in Islamic nations, and their appeals processes are sketchy at best.
My biggest problem with this film is not the film itself, but the praise it is receiving from various fans. This film does not compare to the classics. Please stop pretending that it does.
Yeah, I would say that Moon has a better chance of being remembered than District 9. District 9 was interesting but it's not a classic. I did enjoy it though and I still don't recall any significant plot holes.
Historically, transferring wealth or property from one individual to another has been done voluntarily on a per person level and has resulted in a great deal of generosity. Americans, after all, aren't going hungry, quite the opposite.
I really, really disagree with you here. Historically Americans DID go hungry and DID lead unacceptably poor lives during and after industriallization before the free market was regulated and the welfare state was established.
Yeah, I really don't understand what plot holes people are talking about. When the protagonist stole the spacecraft he flew it poorly and was desperate, convinced that he had no chance of surviving for three years. The alien technology wasn't so complicated that it couldn't be used badly, it just required alien DNA to function. When the alien who actually knew what he was doing took command he clearly understood and used the technology much better. The hero's erratic or counterproduct
If private insurers can't enroll new people, how do they stay in business?
Yes, that paragraph does mean that all insurance companies would be put out of business permanently after whenever Y1 is. The problem though is that's in such plain text that if that were all there is to it it'd be a slam dunk on proving the bill is going to eliminate private insurance. However I haven't seen pundits or politicians pointing that out so I assume there's more to it than that section. I'll s
BTW, the top 20% may have 50% of the "financial wealth" (though I'm dubious on how that amount is measured as it's extremely subjective). But the top 20% pay about 80% of the federal taxes. ( http://www.taxfoundation.org/publications/show/250.html ) an amount that isn't subjective. So one can easily make the argument that tqhe wealthiest are already paying, even by the left's highly subjective valuation
