Coming from a 3+ year DotA background you might be surprised that I state that I am against having magic resistence items. Magic resistence items DO have their place in dota but not in demi. the reason is because in dota, int heroes are overwhelmgly strong early game and you need a counter - this is magic resistence. in demi its different: heroes are more or less balanced throughout the entire duration of the game. So following your logic, if I commit myself to say, playing tennis with a friend, and he wins the 1'st set out of 3 sets, I can just walk out on him and use your argument that "its just a game". All, This is my first day on the forums and 3rd day playing demi. For what its worth, I come from a solid 3 year DOTA background. I will just give my 2c on this topic. As much as there are technical issues with this game, I believe it has extraordinary potential and as long as I know the developers are working on the issues and remain communicative about them, I honestly could not care less. Unfortunately many games nowadays are prematurely rel

Coming from a 3 year DOTA background, RQ'ers (aka leavers) have always been a problem. I support having strong penalties for people who arbitrarily leave. The other alternative is to have some sort of 3rd party tool tied to Impulse that allows you to ban a player by ACCOUNT, such that you would never have to play with that loser again. This would probably be a much more viable solution. When people like myself who take ha
