There are no pointers. Reg is a weak DG, and almost never used in competetive play, and basically never used by the winning side in competetive play. DG comes down to basically four demigods - UB, Erebus, Sedna, and Oak. Rook and TB and Reg can be used in some situations, but typically using them gives you a disadvantage. QoT is almost never useful. The problem with Sedna is that all a Sedna has to do is stick her bishops on you, let them

So your great response is a personal attack and then anecdotes? *applauds* I love seeing good dialog taken to entirely new levels. What's next, a godwins law? Reg can't 1v1 a Sedna, Erebus, or UB that knows what they are doing. Anyone who is actually decent at this game knows that. Perhaps it might, over time, be able to kite one down if they are drunk, but they'll never be able to hold a flag or a portal, which is what late game wil

When my teammates aren't on, I'll go online and I'm willing to play against premades on my own, with randoms. But when I check stats and one of them is an obvious nub and a feeder, I'm not going to play against the premade with them on my team. And for some reason the premades typically don't want to kick the feeder so I end up leaving. And sometimes I play against premades and have my teammates tell me what a horrible horrible player I am :P

I think just one level is always worth it, if just for the added assists/kill steals. Running back to the flag or to shop, it never hurts to drop a snipe down when you will see the mana crystal in a few seconds anyways, and that 500 health you took off was essentially free - and most games you'll get at least one or two added assists added to the team, at the minimum - and that one time it gets a runner, it's worth it. And it's worth it, if nothing else, because just the fact that

So you can survive 3-4 spits. Lets say you go after a beast, he opens up with a spit. That means the third spit will come 15 seconds after the start. You can't let the beast start attacking you (because he'll grasp you and then auto attack you and you really don't have the health for that) so at best you get to attack him for, oh, 10 seconds of that 15 seconds, the rest you are running away kiting. (assuming no cooldown flag) That means you shoot him, oh, 7 times and run bac

I like sedna/rook on crucible. The rook/sedna combo is unpushable off a lane once they get any towers down, and if a erebus depends on batswarming across to get the flags capped, the sedna can simply walk over and take him in a fight - a minion erebus can't bring his minions with him batswarming across, and no other erebus has a shot against sedna. Meanwhile, the other DG can't be pushing a tower rook out of his farm alone, 'specially if the sedna left him a monk/bishop. (An

I find silence to be pretty useless. Every once in a rare while it is slightly helpful, but at what cost? 800 mana just to force him to autoattack for 3 seconds? You've already got one of the best interrupts in the game in pounce, and with senda mana = heal. The only time it's useful is to silence someone then tele out or pot, but with sedna you should oh so rarely be in a situation to do either. Sigil is always better then a pot, and sedna should never be in a p

Regulus is the easiest class to play against as a UB. He has absolutely no counter to spit - He tries to kite you, just spit him and then spit him again, rinse wash and repeat. Just grab the Blade of the Serpent and you can keep spit on him 24/7 if he tries to engage you. If he lets you get close, a spit/grasp/spit really toasts him.

I gaurantee you that Belier and Apika are desyncing intentionally when they are going to lose. Having played them, having it desync once it's apparent they are going to lose, and having seen how horrid of players they actually are, there is no doubt in my mind at all. I've had several desyncs since then, and every single time I was winning. Every single time, it is as the other team is leaving/dropping. It's never desynced when someone on my team drops.

One thing about the Erebus - an Assasin erebus is almost as powerful as a minion erebus. The other team has a crapton AOE, a TB and a mine reg or something, the erebus just goes pure assasin, and with batswarm/bite/mass charm, any TB or Reg that comes near an erebus alone is dead. Sedna and UB might be able to take it 1v1, but the amazing escape ability of an erebus makes up for a lot. Sedna is simply essential in any good team. Sedna + UB/Ere/Oak vs any twoso

My friend Impossible and I hopped into a 2v2 game on Crucible, against a premade of Belier13 and Apika, both of whom had a 201-2 record. Therefore we found it somewhat .... odd, how easy it was. (hint - they were playing Oak/Reg vs Sedna/Rook on Crucible... After we had their front towers down, all of the flags behind us capture, and a 6 tower farm up and were working on their second level of towes (and had just killed them both, giving us a 5-1 kill-death ratio over them)

I use dual monitors, and play DG in windowed mode on my main - a 26". This requires that you use WASD to move the camera, but thats very easy to get used to - and your fingers are right near there anyways for the skills. I've had to start maximizing the window though, otherwise I would get way too many "click-off" deaths, where I accidently clicked off the screen when trying to RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!

my friend Impossible and I have been doing this for ages. We discovered that Demigod is the PERFECT length - one game is just about the time required to drink a beer. Inbetween games, grab another beer and go to the bathroom if needed, repeat ad naseaum, until you have drunk enough. ... Some of our games at the end of the night can get ugly. ('Specially when we add in shots)
