Jongalt check your math, I dont think you took out the round robin money before you did the percentages in some of the splits ! Esp able to see in the totals between 2 and 3.
#3 is right, however the actual $ totals for #2 looks like im missing $70 or so. I realized my mistake - sorry about that. All of the $'s will increase sligh

Awesome Nacelle, i'm glad to see you and your sons sign up! I can't wait until my kids get old enough to play ! I'll also support the Loosest Hanging OGT member, thunder and agree that the new system suggested by cowbutt can be good. Cowbutt, you also need to pick one system go with it, i'm assuming that system would be the second one you suggested. Hedgie does have a point though when saying that whatever system is used there will be some more popular combos.&nbsp

Voting - Payout Options- Current Tally They Payout Options below do not include a participation prize. The participation prize will be a raffle amongst the teams or players who have finished the game. Let's nail down the initial split first then work out the raffle afterwards. The anticipated pot is currently $700 so I will use this as a basis for my suggested break downs: <strong

Well then, expect some pure grain alcohol. You must drink 1 cup with a mixer of your choice within 30 minutes of playing me/nom/thunder. [e digicons]*_*[/e] Jona will be required to do the same. I will accompany said pure grain with BAC level testing strips :) [e digicons]:O[/e]

My sons and I play Demigod at LAN parties and destroy everyone there, but we don't consider ourselves GOOD compared to the pros. They've been playing all kinds of League of Legends lately. When I mentioned tournament, they said they wouldn't mind going back playing Demigod, but didn't want to be on loosing end of every single battle. Lastly, will we hav

Congrats on getting the game ! It's a good one, but has a bit of a learning curve. I recommend playing with a few demi's at first then picking a demigod and learning the skills for that one. I would have to recommend Beast, Erebus or Oak. Be sure to check the strategy forums for different builds. Also as of note, you can wear more than 1 of the same item (ie. 2 helms, 2 armors etc.) Most demi's are played with 2 helms, 2 armors and boots. (ig. Vlemish + Ple

The anticipated pot is currently $700 so I will use this as a basis for my suggested break downs: Pot Split 1 $90 goes to the team that wins the round robin 50% of the balance goes to the winner of the playoffs ($305 fo

Pacov - Yes, a team that drops out of the tourney could influence the outcome of the tourney per your description. The fairness would be that the final teams that are left are compared to each other only. I think that in the case that all of the remaining active teams have played the teams who have decided to drop out, then those points could remain on the board. In your example all 3 teams played each other, lets add a 4th in there to expand. Team A = 5 po

Unfortunately the fairest thing to do is when a team drops out, which is inevitable, then anyone who has played them and won has the points removed from their overall score. Just for an example, 20 teams enter, teams 11-20 drop out. Then the 10 teams that are left are only compared to each other and the games they played against each other. The only possible exception would be if all of the remaining teams played a team that has dropped out. (i.g. team #20 drops out

It is my understanding that a new patch will be released, timeframe is unknown. It is also my understanding that it is already in the contract between Stardock and GPG. I currently have no reason to doubt it's release but it may be sometime though. J

While I am not a gambler i am willing to wager @ 5 to 1 odds on this prediction: The team that wins the round robin will be in one of the money winning slot of the playoffs. So $46 plus (first, second, third) place winnings has a compound effect as opposed to just a standalone number. also, if the top 3 places win money then that only leaves 1 team out of the top 4 that doesnt win money from the playoffs. <stro

If you are going to critisize something cow, then provide alternatives. Better do it quick as well since things are in motion for the marketing. Would just dumping the huzzzzzzaaahh out of it help ? It's also currently listed as Pacov's Last Stand (the last stand being in regards to oak's skill of rising from the dead)

Gentlemen, First off, i thought we voted to do a full round robin tournament instead of a round robin to a bracket system. With that in mind my suggestion is to have the playoffs as round robin as well. Playoff Suggestion 1 Each team of the top 4 plays each other for an additional 3 games. A tie would result in a tie breaker. Playoff Suggestion 2</stron
