Thanks Si1foo, I'm not sure what plug-in Scottie tried... The problem is getting the files from .3ds to .gr2 I'll check what I can get right some time over the weekend... work ALWAYS gets in the way of fun :(

Anyway, an update on my connection. I upgraded to the next level & was told by my line supplier that if I use them as an ISP, I can get the top connection &

Modelling isn't a problem (I know it isn't for me anyway). What is a problem is that the models are native Granny files & a license for that costs an absolute fortune. If we can get a converter that allows saving in that format, the sky is the limit. Once a new "base" has been created the normal editing tool would allow us to place all the flags, etc.
Once again: good idea! That should also help reduce the number of duplicate posts as you could actually find the topic that you're looking for. We could also possibly ask to have sub-sections, such as Levels, Mods, etc... under the Ideas tab (or any other area we get given). Kryo: Unfortunately, I'm one of those people that tend to take a thread on walk about... don't do the flame thing though [e digicons]:-"[/e]
[e digicons]5*[/e] Great idea & we need somewhere where our ideas can be taken seriously. How about BEER on the command line? Sorry I couldn't resist... [e digicons]:X[/e]
Thought this could be fun for 4 vs. 4... Very rough concept though.
It sounds like a great concept... just wish I could see the pictures... (I'm sitting at work & photo bucket is blocked[e digicons] <v:f eqn="sum @0
Thanks M8 [e digicons][/e] Your help is much apreciated!
Thanks for the replies [e digicons]:)[/e] I did see your post tperge, I know the numbers are old & they've changed. I'm actually looking at upgrading my connection. That's why I'm asking the question... Unfortunately there is always a cost implication [e digicons]:annoy
Hi folks [e digicons][/e] I've been wondering what the MINIMUM upstream & downstream connection speeds are to get DG working for MP? What are the connection requirements for: 1 vs. 1: ? 2 vs. 2: ? 3 vs. 3: ? 4 vs. 4: ? 5 vs. 5: ? The reason being that I don't want to be the one causing the game to lag. <p
I had the same problem... I typed it in about 5 times before I got it working. Try this: Retype the number from scratch (don't try editing it if it doesn't work), I'm not sure if it's case sensative. Also remember to type in all the dashes.
The most "under used item" is common sense... then again sense isn't that common to begin with... [e digicons][/e]
The only software I know about that handles .gr2 files is "Granny". Have a look at http://www.radgametools.com/granny/sdk.html
As it is a Tower rook only comes into play mid game. Early game he's got low HP & tends to run back & forth between his farm & the crystal. Late game his towers can't stand against a semi-decent DG or their minions... I really wish they'd make his towers scale UP as the game progresses. What would be really nice is if the chaining graphic actually represented what the towers were doing as opposed to each fighting on their own... In ot
To be fair I don't see why it's not just made that when you buy an item with +mana pool, it doesn't automatically give you the mana. Since all shops (aside from artifact ones, boohoo) are right beside a regen crystal I don't see it as being much of a problem.
[e digicons][/e] Simple as that!
limited upstream of players connections was NEVER the problem.
Actually that's one of the BIGGEST problems! Remember this is a P2P game, so if your upload speed SUCKS, the game WILL lag! Same is true for SIM speed, if you've got 50 programs running you can't expect it to perform. Must say it's better than it was at release though.
Back on topic... LOL! Normal 0 false false false <w:Browse

From reading Frogboys post: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/356631 Next week... Slow on the draw... AGAIN! LOL! He mentions it in his inital post as well JagerJack

Unfortunately, any game eventually looses the casual players, that doesn't mean that you don't get new players, only that the player stream slows; this isn't necessarily the end of the game though. The only way to keep new players coming in & existing players active is by keeping the game fun & adding new content. To keep the game "fun" we definitely need a skill matching function, this should ensure that you're playing against other peop
Taking into consideration how hard they've worked to fix the bugs & the amount of feedback they've given us... I will DEFINATELY support Stardock in the future!
