I have more ideas for DGII. Sponsorship and advertising! I always notice lobby and load screens in RTS can be time consuming. I was thinking recently about TV on the internet, and commercials are sometimes played before the start of the show. *Agree on skill tree tweaks. For example at one point I played with using the stats boost tree (increase health, mana and others) but found the buffs too small to be an alternative to spell upgrades. I can't even remember what the boost was, something like +100hp +100mp?? a little (not a lot) more would make this tree viable. Don't know if I agree on combining tower upgrades. I absolutely HATED DOTA,LOL, and HON. I think DG is AWESOME. Yes, I too find it hard to believe there's not more people into DG. Demigod 2 would get me running to the shop to buy it. Some ideas: Graphics are excellent already I don't think any improvement is needed there. Balance is excellent in my opinion too. Hi Gkrit. I came back for a while and found the game is full of haters. Apart from being impossible to start a game in less than 1 hour...not worth it. stopped playing for good about a month ago and will never play again. I now play company of heroes online. Much better environment, no rage, no hate. Maybe that's because many people speak no English there? Best of all the game is not as addictive/competitive so it's a hell of a lot better for your health.

Yeah, There's been times when there was nothin doing... I guess it's the same as when you don't reboot regularly and the pc gets full of honey.....but then I'm sure cycling the services would cause interruptions as well. I understand completely the need/demand balance in everything... Just hope some development like a DG2 or a re-engineer of DG itself takes place some time, and the volume of customers will be there to make this most awesome game succeed as it deserves.

Recently - since the $5.99 sale for demigod I have noticed the servers/lobby have been getting slower and slower. Just logging in today took ages, only to find 0 games hosting.... Then check server stats to see 5 games in progress with a total of 7 people playing worldwide! Even these forums seem to be loading slow, and surely that's not due to traffic.... Just an observation. Gonna go play some Battlefield BC2 for some instant action now.

I'll glady play with or against players of any win% and #games! The only people I steer away from are ones who rage :-) I'll gladly play you with or against anytime I see you online. I just bought 6 copies of demigod to give to my LAN buddies. They will surely have the same problem as they've played LAN heaps but will have no online stats! Maybe you need to deliberately lose some matches lol..

Understandable mate. I've flamed in the forums before....I got pre-update rage against the game.... Now it's stable enough and I can get a game going easily enough that's not a big issue..... I'll certainly like to play with or vs you anytime I see ya out there :-) Down with rage eh.

Yes it is. In demigod you control a single hero. A General or an assasin. Generals have minions too (but not many)... It's slower and more strategical than those other games you list; there's less need for practiced reflex combos of the gamer for instakills and the like, but requires more brains, like chess, to master. By far the best RTS I've played.

This is excellent!!!!!! I just bought a copy and gifted it to a friend. I hope this sale price remains long enough for my next LAN party.... We play Demigod LAN about once a month and there's up to 20 people attending..... My brother and I will gift a copy to all our LAN friends at this price in a couple of weeks.
