Re the 6 Artemis vs defense i don't think there were any unit balance changes in 2.10v ? Is that with the opt in ?

Destructor secondary weapon although weaker can hit ground targets from memory , it's at lesser range and half the dps.
Further to the above ss can't include the avatar in an army so that's macro to have him.near , unless the ss builds a listening post nearby he will.be.reliant on the searcher which is terribly weak , build some appollos and soon the as won't have any radar at all. I play ss a lot and ss radar units are few and the range of.artillery is quite low compared to phc so you should be able to counter easy enough.
It's most likely due to the fact your radar was down , as destructor has 1400 range and can fire on radar targets, now to get that much range.without being hit by your own.units your radar units must have been non existant and he must have had full range of radar coverage e.g. aided by the searcher or avatar or lastly range quanta upgrades. That's my guess otherwise ss get hit heavy on approach by phc defense.
Great move , I am a founder and paid for escalation but I am very content knowing that most of the reason for downvotes is now gone ( I hope the downvotes get reversed as they are damaging ) as this game needs to thrive e.g. more users , more income for stardock, faster development , better game.

I play ss mainly and the changes seem very appealing to me at least in attack , caregiver will become worth building , overmind becomes slightly more than a mobile shield generator and I like the reduced costs on rads too, sky ender is more potent, mauler I'm a.bit disappointed to losing the armor piercing but I see Athena gets more nerfs so that might be right , nerfs to ss defense could be warranted, searcher shield buff is very welcome as it was extremely weak before The
Wow liking the shields increase on the Harbringer , well worth the rads. Also the Caregive sight radius is very welcome , i think this unit now has the max site of any SS unit ? or it must be close . Lacking a land based scout this is great. Major kudos for the balance work lately. My maulers feel a lot tougher thanks to those shields also .. they have to be getting pounded by artillery miles out. Need some UI mods next please, need an easier way i

I have spread the love and have a couple of mates who are now into this game also. : Unit information stats - Something for the future , can we get an up to date repository somewhere of all the unit stats in escalation , there seems to be nothing on the web besides an ashes wiki which slows learning. Just played a few more games, beat normal ai quite easily , that used to lot harder prior to beta , it had its moments though. Also i see the ai is using air forces now, it had me on the hope mid game with no aa turrents or units in my base and 6-7 ai bombers attacking there, managed to russell up an aa turrent just in time , going to have to think about that now. Found it interesting i couldn't use the scanner sweep due to the orbital nullifier in the area so i had to pan
wow that was cool, felt like it was almost a different game. Noticed the ratio of units produced has changed , eg archers pop out 1:1 but brutes 6:1 etc. Nice changes there. Great graphics tweaks , had everything to maximum and noticed no slowdown at all so performance is really solid now for me. AI seems dumbed down a little , not really a complaint here as it was too aggressive before. Normal now = easy before maybe , i need to play more to really see. Womped easy where as b
Ah yeah by T3 you mean the cronus ? Artemis = t2 i think, if so yeah that's a thought I've had but normally by then I'm already on the back foot on these maps. On the maps i can get there i normally have 2-3 Cronus's per 1 of the Promethus's and yeah that is a straight forward win for me then. Eg i can siege him all day then . Been quietly reading the forums for a while and enjoying the game as its come along more and more. One thing i'm struggling with however is getting pounded by artillery i can't even see (playing AI on normal level) , its like the AI have a nearby radar which i cant get close too without getting even more pounded. I wonder if there will there be a way of jamming radar or shielding or is it simply a matter of having to take out this artillery aggressively before it becom
Well that did it .. my wallet is a bit lighter now !! I'm really liking the direction this is going in .. Finally a game to use a 6 core CPU effectively with multi core AI. keep up the good work and the regular updates.
