[quote who="woppin" reply="10" id="2269747"]Herodotus, Having an auto banlist doesn't actually change anything for the person being kicked, it just saves effort on the host's part. If someone screws my game up by RQ, lagging, or sim-lagging, I'll make a note of their name and kick them if they join my lobby. An automated feature just makes this process easier. If I don't want to play with someone, I'm not going to be forced to, and I don't need to give any reason for it other than

[quote who="woppin" reply="16" id="2269611"]I don't have the patience to type out an explanation of how Euros joining AU/NZ games are going to lag things up. You're not going to get a kick reason from many hosts simply because they have to kick a large number of people before the lobby is full of people with workable connections, and to type out to each and every one of them why they're being kicked would waste everyone's time. If you have high ping to someone just leave, don't off

I agree, constantly re-joining is annoying. But I have two issues with this. 1/ Does the person being kicked know why he's being kicked? Do you explain or just kick? 2/ I joined a match, and before it began I realised my ping was high. So I offered to leave the list, but a few other players asked me not to. So again, before the match had even begun I offered once more to leave. Instead of a response, I was kicked. If you're going to kick, give a reason and don't be off

Few games support ban lists, and unless a player is cheating he's tolerated (albeit with much bitching). Most MP games, aside from a few I won't mention but you probably know them, are rigorously monitored by anti-cheating systems (like Punk Buster) and the server host themselves. When playing World in Conflict players leave all the time to be replaced by bots, and noone cares...we're having too much fun. I raised the issue of having a high ping before, but I persevered

I would have used mine, but alas like some others the email arrived just too late (time zone difference perhaps). It had already expired by the time I read the happy tidings.

No BAN LIST! It's hard enough joining a game as it is, living in Australia even with ADSL2+. My Ping is just too high for all-and-sundry (anything over 400 it appears) and as soon as I coonect to a game, I'm kicked for having too high a ping (which I can't tell, as my ping isn't made visible). I just know because I get kicked (the one MP match I did get allowed on I never rage-quitted nor abused any player, so that's not the issue). If you guys are going to get a ban list g
