I like nature but with a little heightened reality. Where better but [link="http://www.digitalblasphemy.com/"]Digital Blasphemy[/link]

Damned ugly on Firefox and the menus are slow. You can see the icons being drawn as the menu pops up. Bloated. If it's a wincustomize toolbar, then make the content relate only to wincustomize. Email checking, popup blocking, radio? Not necessary. Overall a nice idea, but ultimately overkill I think. Plus, I know how my "Back" button works, so don't tend to get lost
FYI. The problem has been fixed. "Just to let you know, the lead developer of WindowBlinds has looked into the issue and has fixed this. When the next version of WindowBlinds is released (5.51) this issue should be resolved." Thanks Stardock.
Hey ho.. have sent report to stardock support. Fingers crossed.
There is a big problem using 16 bit programs under Vista and Windowblinds. Vista copes with them with no problems, but Windowblinds cause corruption of SDI windows. Below is an example of a 16 bit program I knocked up to demonstrate. Application opening an MDI window (everything ok): Application opening an SDI window (title bar invisible, although text still shown) <img src="http://www.westoncp.org.uk/test/
I didn't think I was going to like it at first glimpse. Until it took me about 2 seconds to make a good looking document. But you're right, change is a scary thing. Now, where are my DOS disks?
Ie., Which versions of ObjectDock, Which version of Windowblinds, etc etc. How much more detail is needed? Isn't it safe to assume that it's the latest version of every program. Why report the problem otherwise? <FONT face=Tahoma
If you have a shortcut, in ObjectDock, that displays as a menu, e.g. the start menu, the icons are too close to the text in the menu. Unload WB and they are fine. Maybe it is a skin setting somewhere, but every skin I've tried so far has produced the same problem.
So Photoshop is about the only app that this new build DOES work for. Ok, you dropped a serious ball on this build, but don't keep us waiting too long for a fix.
Oops.. PsPad doesn't work either. Causes a kernel32.dll error. And that isn't 16bit. I just wish the auto-archive worked in SDCentral, otherwise I would be going back to the more stable version.
This latest build does not work with 16-bit apps under Windows XP. The previous build did. The dialog boxes simply do not open, or cause the program to crash. Excluding wowexec.exe causes the original dialog boxes to function again, but it would be far nicer to have the enhanced one. Whatever you broke, can you fix it please? Thanks guys
Click (or double click) on the centre of the clock
I love Skeech but the others do nothing for me. Still tempted to get it though. But no discount for Object Dock-ers? Keep up the good work.
It's nice of Apple to finally help out us poor Windows Users who are stuck with an OS that constantly requires a multitude of mouse buttons to work it. Have you ever tried to work Windows without a mouse, or with one mouse button. It isn't possible. A mouse should be point and click and everything should be accessed via simple menus, or key presses. mm. that sounds familiar.
Does anyone use MSN explorer anyway? It's always the first thing I uninstall, after installing windows. Lucky Macs
I think you missed the key word in my question: "sounds" Thanks anyway.
Does anyone know where I can get hold of some good Xmas background sounds that I could add to Natural Desktop? Log fires crackling.. the odd sleigh bell... you know the stuff. TIA
More sour grapes... banging on about Konfabulator. Change the record. We all know that DesktopX is superior, but it still isn't "new" and it isn't the only program out that. That's why I hate having personal Blogs on the front page of Wincustomize. It just cheapens the whole site. Stick to relevant news reporting. Save the personal gripes for the playground.
The ability the add sounds was not part of Object Dock, it was a thirdparty add on. But I can't remember where it came from. Helpful
www.wincustomize.com Search for "OSX", or "Jaguar", or "Mac" in the Windowblinds, or Suite section depending on which you prefer. If you are using Stardock Central then you can easily search across all Object Desktop programs.

Bush or Kerry? Where is the "None Of The Above" option? That's what I would choose.
Another reason why personal views should be kept away from the "front page" news.
You may want to re-read some of the replies, and judge them based on if they had been directed to you. But I am *now* aware of the parental consent issue. But that is only legal mumbo jumbo for signing up to a site. Age should not be an *issue* as to what you can skins you can post here.
