Shesh, please stop the whinging. Bring back news to the front page, not all this "opinion". There are sites for that sort of thing. I can't say I agree with the decision because I think the longevity of the skin is the most important attribute. Out of the top 5, only Vector-Cell and Blanco stayed on my computer for longer than a day. Kudos to all the skinners, though, because they are well designed skins, but I see them as nothing more than "artwork". But then maybe I'm missing the point? Well done, all, anyway.

My Taskbar when the way of my Windows Luna theme, a long time ago. So if the mac version of the dock is have as useful as Object Dock I can't see the problem. But then maybe the problem is that the mac interface is so much better than windows already, that the dock isn't required?!?!

This is something that would be fairly straightforward to do with Desktop X. Look at the aquarium theme for one. And that doesn't stop when you aren't focused on the desktop. It's a bit like Microsoft advertising what cool things you can do on a Mac..

Yeah. I have seen the same thing happen. If your desktop size is resticted and you have a maximized application running. Clicking on ICQ will cause the maximized application to fill the screen (i.e. ignoring the limits)

I do hope, though, that if this pay-for-skin if going to continue, that either the subsciption fee is reduced, or that paid subscribers get a reduction in price.
