Map, Pirates in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

Ok, hey guys. I'm in the middle of creating an epic 8-player map, which gives you a massive starting position to really entrench yourself in, before travelling to the central star which most of the battles (will/should?) happen in. To get to this star, you need to pass through a Pirate Base. I ask of you: Would it be possible/plausible to attack/defeat a Pirate Base with mid-game level equipment (about the level you get Interstellar Jumps at), esp
