It's not enough.......... [e digicons]XD[/e] Though, I do remember now editing files for the Star Trek mod so I could have more caps and whatnot, but since then I've gotten a new computer for some reason when I open the files, I get a bunch of random symbols and letters instead of the lines of stuff to edit like before...

Has anyone made a mod like that for Rebellion? I would wait for Distant Stars, but after playing Sins modded for the past 3 years, I can't take how slow non-modded Sins feels in comparison...

Hi, I've been trying to play DS for Diplomacy 1.21, and whenever I start a new game, planet/star icons are really distorted. For instance, an Ancient Citadel shows up as a distorted Uranus icon on the map when I zoom out of the gravity well, and a white star's icon is an image of nine desert planet icons in a 3x3 grouping. Is this possibly due to using DS with the newest update to Diplomacy? I've tried redownloading a new copy of DS and running, but I still have the proble

I need some help... If I wanted to add your planets (just your planets) to another mod (Sacrifice of Angels 2), how would I do that? Someone over on the SOA2 gave me some basic help, but my attempts failed miserably. I would appreciate ANY help anyone could give me =D --JOZMAR

So is the latest download a version of Distant Stars and Alliance, Hidden Agendas packaged together, or is this like a download and add to the folder kind of thing (forgive me for my lack of modding knowledge)?

I tried doing what you said with the planets, but I keep getting mini-dumps. How exactly would I go about adding the planet types? As for the research, the code edit worked, so thanks =D About the SOA set of new planet types, are you planning on including a set of Sol System planets?

Hey If I wanted to simply add the planets from Distant Stars to my copy of this mod, what would I have to do? (Just the planets, not any bonuses or anything) Also, if I wanted to quicken the research speeds, how would I do that? Any help would be appreciated =)

This may have been covered elsewhere, but as I do not feel like traversing nearly 150 pages, I'm just going to ask - what is the title of the piece playing in the menu of Distant Stars?
If I wanted to add music to a mod I have (Distant Stars), would I follow similar steps?
If I wanted to change the music in the game, what would I have to do?

Ok, so I'm assuming I need to get 2.0 first, and then add 2.1 to 2.0? I've only been able to download and add 2.1 to my mods folder, which I'm guessing is what's causing my mini dumps. 2.0 isn't downloading for some reason; I keep getting the "file not found" screen for it. Some help would be appreciated, because this mod looks really amazing =D

Ok, I edited the file, but the militia still did not appear. Perhaps I didn't edit the templates correctly? Which exact steps must I follow when I edit the planet templates?
What about adding militia planets? I tried messing around with the planet templates, but none of militia ships or structures I tried adding were there...
Hi, I'm building a map and would like to pre-set the names of the players I'm putting into the map. I go to Edit Players, set the "In-Game Name" to what I want, but when I play, the original SINS names are still used (ie "Nitheim Rebels", "Luopica Colonists", etc). How can I change this?
