I had a quick go earlier. So far my first impression of this expansion is err... Meh... I know its not the final product. I will be happy if they stick in a few ships to be honest. I hope that screen shot of a new cap is real :) Loved Entrenchment btw.
Hey Ryat, You should arrange some dates so we can get together and play. Perhaps on the weekend would be best. You can edit the OP and put it in there so people will know they its on.
Tyring this mod out. So far I must say, very good job. Feels like a mini expansion pack. Is there any arranged online play time? If not is anyone interested to play online?
I definetly would like diplomacy to be supported, just think we should wait at least 6 months for it to mature so when you do finish it, you will have skipped a good 2-3 patches. I mean by the sounds of it by the time the current build is fixed and back up, 2-3 months later diplomacy will be out :) But I trust the modders know best, and will make the decision that is best for soa2 and its community. I think what money6891 is saying makes sense. The only thing I am thinking of is, if a new patch comes out for entrenchment, is it likely it will require you to rebuild from ground up again? If not then best stick with entrenchment, as when diplomacy comes out there will be 2-3 patches that is likely to come out within the first 6 months. Once this period has passed you can then perhaps move over to diplomacy. However it does seem that when there is a patch, there is one for both v

Oh and also there should be manual categories we can create and put players into each area. For example in the case of eetmorsqrls, if I was only interested in 1v1's I can make a category "not into 1v1's" and stick him in there. Then I can remember not to bother him. I mean when this comes out of beta there will hopefully be a lot more people using it. So imagine, your not going to remember what someone told you a few weeks ago and invite him again.

I have been using Ready TO Play for sometime now. So far I have played with about 2-3 people on there. I would say over 90% of my reqests to play with people go unanswered. Only once has someone declined, which funilly enough I was happy when it happened as at least I knew they did not want to play that game. There are quite a few regulars there that are always on Ready and NEVER resbond when I invite. These guys are spoiling Ready to Play in my opinion. Why go on Ready when you are either aw
I will keep checking for a response, but I am not optimistic. We need a better way of organising a way to meet and play online. I know with the current situation of the mod its not a priority of SoA2 team, But perhaps if someone made a website for the mod and we had our own forum where we could organise things?

I used to get at least 20 recommended friends, although many were offline, at least I knew there was many. Now I only seem to be seeing the same 3 dudes the past few days, which when I invite they never respond. I tried like 3 times, lol. I did update RTP via Impulse, so I have latest version. Any ideas? How many recommended friends do you guys get?
I thought it was my computer, but I crashed out after 20-30 minutes or so [e digicons]-_-[/e] I pressed escape and the error message disapeared, so cant report on that. Does mini dump take you to desktop and end the game running?

I realised that I deleted the files from the mod folder when they stoped working so I cant even use the the tool as it asks to naviate there and there is nothing there now. When I show it to the new downloaded files I get a error. number 52. I could probably fix this, but I dont want to spend to much time on it knowing a update will be out in a few weeks and not many people will be online before that anyway.
